Defending “Israeli Carry” or Condition Three

From The Truth About Guns:

I’m amazed by how much hate I get when I admit to carrying my concealed weapon “ Israeli style” with a loaded magazine and an empty chamber. Any safety, if present, is set to the fire position. Please don’t comment with phrases like “you might as well be carrying a club” or “ the only safety I need is between my ears.” It sounds exactly like the empty phrases anti-gunners use when open carry is discussed. “Blood in the streets,” “every argument becomes a gunfight.” These are unthinking responses.

Age Discrimination and Guns

From NRA-ILA:

Eighteen-year-olds have not been prohibited from purchasing and possessing rifles and shotguns at the federal level, and in the vast majority of states, since the founding of our country.  Nonetheless, because of the violent acts of one individual, we have seen an onslaught of legislation throughout the country that seeks to raise the minimum age to purchase and/or possess rifles and shotguns from 18 to 21.  Because common sense has taken a back seat to raw emotionalism in today’s gun control debate, some of these efforts have seen success.

Gee I guess “some people” do “need” more than 10 rounds. Thank God we have a ruling elite who can choose them from among the governed.

From Townhall:

Last week, California Gov. Jerry Brown (D) signed a bill that would allow retired law enforcement officers to keep their “high capacity magazines” in the Golden State, The Santa Clarita Valley Signal reported.

ACLU Fails To Defend Civil Rights

After sliding backwards on the First Amendment the ACLU is now attacking the Second.

From The Truth About Guns:

The ACLU has conspicuously ignored self defense as a right for decades when it involves the use of firearms. This glaring omission gets embarrassing public attention every time people exercising ACLU-approved rights are attacked or killed.

Gun Prohibitionists Will Never Be Satisfied

From Bearing Arms:

ANGER is mounting over laws which allowed a murderous Sydney dad to legally purchase two powerful handguns — one of which he used to kill his two children in a sickening home attack.

Almost 10,000 Australians have signed a petition which calls for a “full-scale” review of gun laws after the July 5 shooting in which John Edwards killed his children 15-year-old Jack and 13-year-old Jennifer in West Pennant Hills in the city’s west before returning to his home and killing himself.

First Female NRA President Files Suit Against Harassers

From Guns.com:

Marion Hammer, 79, head of the Unified Sportsmen of Florida, the state’s NRA affiliate, filed suit against four men in a Tallahassee federal court on Friday, seeking damages stemming from harassment and threats from the men received in the days following the tragic shooting that occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. The 129-page lawsuit says that among the scores of profane remarks and graphic images Hammer has received over the past several months, urged by groups such as End the NRA, a few rose to the surface.

Lawsuit Denied Against Social Sites

From Guns.com:

A federal judge in Michigan dismissed the suit in March — the same day an Orlando jury acquitted Mateen’s widow on charges of aiding and abetting and obstruction of justice — noting there’s no evidence any of the ISIS propaganda found on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube directly influenced Mateen to murder 49 people at Pulse nightclub on June 12, 2016.
