The win for 300BLK is significant because it shows a use for the round outside of clearing rooms in unfriendly nations. 300BLK allows shooting sports competitors to use the lightweight and ubiquitous AR platform to compete effectively against heavier, higher caliber guns.

A new episode of 3-Gun Nation premier’s tomorrow on Versus, part 2 of the Rocky Mountain 3 Gun match coverage. They are focusing on the battle between Jerry Miculek (of revolver fame) and Mike Voight, with a side dish of Maggie Reese who you may remember from Top Shot. There are some wild guns and incredible shooters on display, set your DVRs to 9:30am central time!

As if by fate for these two noncommissioned officers, the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit with the assistance of the World Class Athlete Program was in the process of building a ground-breaking Paralympic section, thus creating a unique opportunity for wounded veterans deemed able to continue to serve on active-duty to demonstrate the strength of our Soldiers in Paralympic competition.
