Crypto Currency For Guns

From Bearing Arms:

Rob McNealy, OCC’s Cofounder, said: “As gun owners, and ardent defenders of the right to self-defense, we know that the gun industry is constantly under attack. We wanted to create a gun-centric crypto to act as a “continuity of business” payment system for gun retailers. Due to their decentralized nature, blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies simply can’t be shut down by “activist” banks.”

What’s The Point Of A Printed Gun?

From Aier.org:

This gun is a manifestation of the new digital reality: the physical world has become information-based. The only way to control it is to muzzle people, violate free speech rights, and fundamentally transform a principle we have come to believe about the relationship between the individual and state.

Using The Right Gear

From SOFREP:

Good gear, in most cases, is only there to make your life a bit easier, not to compensate for a lack of range time or a technical deficiency but it’s important to note that while good quality gear may not make you a better shooter, bad gear can potentially make you a dead one.

Aimpoint Introduces ACRO Pistol Sight

From Aimpoint:

Malmö, Sweden – June 2018 – Aimpoint, the originator and worldwide leader in red dot sighting
technology, is proud to introduce their new line of red dot sights, the Aimpoint® ACRO™ (Advanced
Compact Reflex Optic) Series. The unique small sight design of the Aimpoint® ACRO series electronic
red-dot sight was developed for use on pistols and other weapon platforms.
For many years, end users have requested a small enclosed red dot sight to fit on handguns. Utilizing
Aimpoint’s advanced sight technology, Aimpoint is proud to launch the first of its kind to the market. The
Acro P-1, offers an enclosed system that is much more durable than those with open systems. It is also
the only sight in its size category fully tested for shock, vibration, temperature span and other
environmental stress.
The Acro P-1 optic can perform under tough conditions while adding negligible size and weight to the
equipment. Tested with a minimum of 20,000 rounds on a .40 cal pistol slide, this small optic has proven
itself in its size category as the leader in ruggedness and reliability.
Designed for direct integration onto pistol slides, the Aimpoint Acro P-1 sight can also be used as a
backup sight for magnifying scopes, personal defense weapons, and on any system where a small red
dot is applicable.
The Acro P-1 sight is a 1X (non-magnifying) parallax-free optic that features a 3.5 minute of angle
(MOA) red dot for fast target acquisition. It is fully submersible to 25 meters and allows continuous
operation for over 1 year on a single CR1225 battery. Dot intensity is adjusted with side push buttons.
“The development of the Acro P-1 sight sets a new standard for compact pistol mounted reflex optics,”
said Aimpoint AB President Lennart Ljungfelt. “The commitment we make to our customers is to develop
the highest performing red-dot sights available. The Acro P-1 optic fulfills that commitment by providing
the lightest and most rugged enclosed red-dot sight in its size category on the market.”
All Aimpoint products are manufactured in Sweden, and Aimpoint AB is headquartered in Malmö,
Sweden. For more information on Aimpoint or other Aimpoint products, please visit our webpage at

CEO of Dick’s Sports Is A Coward

CEO Ed Stack said that Dick’s Sports will never sell AR15 style rifles again, stop selling “high capacity” magazines and will refuse to sell guns to anyone under 21. The only reason Mr. Stack is doing this is to avoid a backlash/boycott by the anti-gun fascists. He is a coward who is refusing to sell legal guns to adults. This new policy is ageist pure and simple.

From the AP:

“We support and respect the Second Amendment, and we recognize and appreciate that the vast majority of gun owners in this country are responsible, law-abiding citizens,” Stack wrote in a letter Wednesday. “But we have to help solve the problem that’s in front of us. Gun violence is an epidemic that’s taking the lives of too many people, including the brightest hope for the future of America — our kids.”

FN Producing Semi Auto M249 Para

From KitUp:

Here at SHOT Show’s annual industry day at the range, the company — the maker of the military’s M249 squad automatic weapon — introduced the M249S Para, a closed-bolt semi-automatic rifle that nonetheless retains the look and feel of the original, down to the belted ammunition. The gun, which features the collapsible buttstock first designed for parachute missions and special operations, follows FN’s M249S Standard, released last year.
