FBI Whistleblower Says They Taught Him Pro-lifers Were More Dangerous Than Islamic Extremists

From The Federalist:

In an interview with the Tennessee Informer last month, Friend recalled his experience at the FBI Academy in 2014: “We were shown a video that was produced by the Southern Poverty Law Center.” The film, Friend said, “ranked people who oppose abortion, pro-life activists, as a greater threat than Islamists.”

No Special Privileges For Police Over Civilians

From Reason:

The magazine ban attempts to divorce today’s common arms of law-abiding citizens from today’s common arms of law enforcement officers, including sheriffs and their deputies. The divorce, contrary to the wishes of both parties, endangers citizens and officers alike.

The arms of ordinary law enforcement officers are carefully selected for only one purpose: lawful defense of innocents in civil society. Throughout American history, many citizens have looked to law enforcement for guidance in choosing arms for the same purpose. Denying those arms to citizens and to retired law enforcement officers  endangers them for the same reasons that denying these arms to active law enforcement officers would endanger them. The most important reason is the necessity of reserve capacity, as detailed in Part II.

First Responders Are The People Who Are Present When An Incident Takes Place

From Ammoland:

In reality, those professionals customarily considered “first responders” are, in fact, second or third responders to dangerous situations. It is critical to the Second Amendment movement that it is understood that the real “first” responders are almost always ordinary American citizens. The citizen who first encounters the person having a heart attack in the mall; the citizen who sees the criminal holding up a cashier across the street; the citizen attacked by a violent thug; the citizen who notices that the neighboring house is on fire: these are the true first responders.

Corporate Press Losing Trust

From News Busters:

Globally, 67% of people surveyed worry that journalists and reporters are “purposely trying to mislead people by saying things they know are false or gross exaggerations,” a new Edelman survey finds. That’s up 8% from last year. It’s also virtually tied with the 66% who say their country’s government is intentionally misleading or lying to them (up 9%).

Who And What Are The Militia?

From Security Studies Group:

The militia is the vehicle for invoking the power to dissolve the government by force, which is a power the citizenry retains inalienably per the Declaration of Independence. Likewise, the militia is one of the final vehicles for protecting an upholding a state the citizens continue to approve of against insurrection or invasion. The citizen is the officer of the state that holds the final say on both of these matters, and therefore the militia properly belongs to them.

Concealed Carry Permits Increase Over 10%

From Ammoland:

The report, from CPRC founder and President John Lott, Carlisle E. Moody Research Director and Professor at the College of William & Mary, and research associate Rujun Wang, says the spike represents “a 48% increase since 2016,” and amounts to “a 10.5% increase over the number of permits we counted a year ago in 2020.”

A New American

From Guns.com:

It is America’s value of Freedom with a capital “F” that excites me the most, though. There isn’t another country on earth where a bunch of like-minded people gather with a few hundred guns, tanks and cannons, and lots of ammo, to light up the hillside with tracers, fireworks, and explosives. God Bless America! I can’t wait to be a part of it!

Why I Became An American

From The Federalist:

It was the fulfillment of a decades-long dream and is, so far, my happiest memory apart from my wedding day. But if you listen to the corporate media or watch the majority of entertainment produced today, my decision to leave Canada to become an American makes no sense. According to America’s foes, I should have stayed in a country that leftists threaten to emigrate to whenever a Republican wins the White House.

Gun Culture Creates Responsible Citizens

From Aaron Tao:

Owning and shooting a gun promotes self-reliance, personal responsibility, and community. Whenever I go to a gun range, I see parents teaching their young children how to shoot, men instructing their significant others, and people of all colors and ethnicities enjoying themselves. Nervous skeptics usually end up leaving with a big smile on their faces.
Further, I am surprised by the large number of foreign tourists eager to learn how to handle and shoot a gun for the first time, an activity that is often out of reach—if not outright illegal—for the average person in their homeland. On more than one occasion, I served as an unofficial ambassador and taught European exchange students how to shoot my AR-15 semi-automatic rifle.

Immigrant On Second Amendment

From The Truth About Guns:

I grew up thinking that the world is fair and if I don’t harm anyone, I wouldn’t be harmed. That worked out great for a while until the day that it didn’t, and I quickly realized that there are physically bigger people who do not always have the nicest of intentions.

Executive Order Allows New Citizens To Opt Out Of Oath Of Allegiance

From Breitbart:

Immigrants seeking to become citizens no longer have to pledge to “bear arms on behalf of the United States.” They can opt out of that part of the Oath. Nor do they have to cite any specific religious belief that forbids them to perform military service.
