Hunter Biden Broke Gun Law Written By Joe Biden

From The Truth About Guns:

If he wants to show that he is serious — and, more important, if he wants to show that he’s not trying to create a confusing thicket of rules that will end up being enforced capriciously — he should be in favor of prosecuting his son and his accomplices.

It is a federal felony to lie on Form 4473. Joe Biden supports this. It is a federal felony to bring a firearm within one thousand feet of a school. Joe Biden not only supports this, he wrote the law.

The New 4473, What To Expect

From The Truth About Guns:

The most notable changes are the inclusion of the firearm information at the top of page one instead of page three, the change of “county” to “county/parish/borough,” and the addition of “non-binary” to the gender.
There are, of course, other changes but they are not as significant as these and they apply mostly to the FFLs.  There is a full breakdown of each change, and what it means for FFLs, in the RocketFFL compliance program.

ATF Suggests Change To Make Gun Registry Possible

From Gun Owners of America:

And we know that the ATF is now trying to put the names of gun owners on the same page of the 4473 as the identifying information of the gun. See here.
But if they’re successful with changing the 4473 in this way, it will be much easier for ATF to create a national gun registry by photographing paper documents.

Republican Wants Weed Question Removed From Gun Form

From Guns.com:

Although marijuana is legal for adults in nines states, and as medical cannabis in 30, it remains listed as a highly-addictive and dangerous Schedule I drug with the federal government. It also shares the same designation as ecstasy, heroin, and LSD. This has resulted in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives maintaining a status quo that any sale or possession of firearms by those who use marijuana, even if allowed by state law, remains criminal.

Bill To Remove Race From Form 4473

From Guns.com:

The measure, sponsored by Reps. Diane Black (R-TN) and Ted Poe (R-Texas), would place a prohibition on the Federal government’s current practice to require race or ethnicity to be disclosed during the transfer of a firearm. This comes after an article in the Washington Times earlier this week brought attention to the practice, quietly implemented two years ago by the ATF, of mandating that patrons buying or receiving a gun select a series of questions on Form 4473 to better identify their race and whether or not they are Hispanic.
