Hollywood’s Propaganda Against Armed Citizens

From The Federalist:

Entertainment programs always show defensive gun uses going wrong (the sole exception in the last decade is Paramount’s “Yellowstone”). Typically the citizen fails to defend himself and ends up murdered, accidentally shoots a loved one, or poses a danger to himself and the police. After the Supreme Court decision this past June striking down New York’s restrictions on concealed handguns, television shows have begun to demonize concealed-carry permits.

Gun Safety From Joe Mantegna

From NRA:

The very first time I ever used a gun in my life occurred in 1976 during a firearms course where I had to learn how to handle a handgun so as to be authentic in a role I would be doing in a play.  It’s somehow fitting that my introduction to the shooting sports would start while doing research for the career I would have for the next 40 plus years and still counting.  I wound up owing a lot to show business in terms of expanding my interest in the shooting sports.

The most important aspect of it was that right from the beginning I was introduced to it by skilled professionals who first and foremost stressed the importance of safety and sensibility whenever dealing with firearms.  Since I work in a profession where the proliferation of all types of firearms are an intricate part of films and television programs, the importance of the armourer’s duties is paramount.

CIA Met With Benghazi Director

From The Daily Beast:

This is the first time the CIA has commented on the upcoming movie. Intelligence officials apparently had particular concerns that certain information in the Mitchell Zuckoff nonfiction book, on which Bay’s film is based, would end up in the final cut of the movie. This would allegedly jeopardize the security and safety of intelligence agency personnel serving in the field, in part because a major Hollywood production could widely disseminate protocol and procedures that the CIA uses to protect its staff in foreign locations, according to a source with knowledge of the matter.

The CIA wanted to make sure that details that are in a published book, are not in the movie? If the details would “jeopardize security and safety” how did they make it past the vetting process and into the book? This has the fingerprints of the White House all over it.

The movie Hollywood doesn’t want you to see

This movie is so controversial that “The Detroit Free Press refused a paid deal to distribute free educational copies of the acclaimed DVD to its subscribers.”

Even though it had been “awarded Best Feature Film at the Liberty Film Festival and a Special Jury Award at the WorldFest Houston.”

“Using actual video footage from Arabic TV rarely seen in the West, [the movie] “Obsession” documents the calls for world domination and global jihad made by Islamic leaders daily. No need to read between the lines here—their message is loud and clear.”

“The undercover footage shows suicide bomber initiations, the indoctrination of young children into hate and violence, secret jihad meetings and public celebrations of 9/11.”

“And yet, “Obsession” has become “the movie Hollywood doesn’t want you to see,” due to the fact that despite overwhelming public interest, no distributor was willing to pick up the film for release because of its controversial nature.”
