20 State AGs Want To Ban Lake City Ammo For Civilians
From The Truth About Guns:
NY Attorney General hates the thought of everyday Americans owning firearms. She works tirelessly to attack gun owners at every turn, including trying to run the NRA out of business. As if her current civil corruption trial of Wayne LaPierre isn’t enough, on Wednesday she launched a new front in her war for civilian disarmament: surplus Lake City 5.56 ammo.
She’s partnered with 19 other state attorneys general to prod the Biden Administration to shut down civilian sales of excess Lake City 5.56×45 ammunition. While that might not sound like a big deal, that ammo represents 30% of civilian sales of that flavor of AR-food.

From Ammoland:
Other ammunition retailers complain that the new system isn’t actually working – apart from the time it takes just to enter the required customer information online, there are significant delays in getting the system up and running and in response times. “It took eight hours between a computer tech and me to play with their website to get their website working,” reported one gun store owner. Only a few days after the system went live, another retailer expressed frustration with delays before a sale could proceed, describing his longest wait time for a response (at that point) as 22 hours.

“When I was at this thing today, it was the first table I was at, a woman said, ‘How do you feel about assault rifles?’ And I said they should be banned,†Tedra Cobb is heard telling a group of teens in a video posted Monday, the Washington Free Beacon reported.
Judge Throws Out SAFE Act Violation on 4th Amendment Grounds
From Buffalo News:
“In observing the magazine, I did notice there were at least 10 rounds in the magazine,†Barrancotta testified. He then emptied the magazine.
“I did count rounds just to confirm our reasonable suspicion that there were more than 10,†Piedmont said.
Tresmond said, “Once the magazine is removed from the firearm, the firearm cannot fire. At that point in time, the search of the firearm should have ceased. But the officers went further. … It was a search without a warrant.â€
