An Armed Populace Prevents Tyranny

From The Federalist:

Contrary to Biden’s claim that Americans would not be able to protect their liberty without F-15s and nuclear weapons, it is still true today, as Alexander Hamilton wrote in “The Federalist Papers,” No. 29, that the Army “can never be formidable to the liberties of the people, while there is a large body of citizens little if at all inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their own rights and those of their fellow citizens.”

Sept 11 Made Me A Gun Owner

From Bearing Arms:

I wasn’t morally opposed to them or anything, but it wasn’t a priority. I had a wife and a child and wasn’t working jobs that paid particularly well. We were struggling to get by and a gun wasn’t high on the list of priorities at that time.

After that day, it was.

Military Purges Are How Fascists Start

From The Federalist:

The American people need to fully understand how dangerous a precedent this administration is setting for the country. It is not just part of the continuing Biden purge of anything Trump touched, although it is that. It is part of the political left’s relentless drive to force political conformity in thought, word, and deed on all segments of society, including the military.

How To Prepare and Train During Ammo Shortage

From The Federalist:

while a lot of ammunition is needed for serious practice over time, the most efficient way to improve one’s firearm skill—in terms of the time, money, and energy invested in relation to the return on that investment—is without ammunition, by what is commonly referred to as “dry firing,” the required safety precautions for which can be explained by any competent instructor.

According to former Army Special Forces soldier Mike Green, whose company, Green-Ops, conducts defensive firearm classes and dry-fire clinics in Northern Virginia and South-Central Texas, “dry-firing is the most often overlooked element of a comprehensive training program. But it shouldn’t be. It’s simple and almost cost-free.”

Socialist Magazine Jacobin Is Against New Gun Laws

From Jacobin:

Gun violence is a major problem in the United States, and calls for lawmakers to “do something” in response to lives lost are certainly understandable. Unfortunately, “doing something” tends to involve passing more criminal statutes, imposing longer prison sentences, or further empowering police officers. In many jurisdictions, police and sheriffs hold almost unfettered discretion in determining who can obtain a license to own or possess a handgun. Licensing requirements frequently rely on criminal records, which in turn reflect race- and class-based disparities in enforcement.

Disarming Americans Without Laws

How Will San Francisco Enforce Ban On Homemade Guns?

From San Francisco Chronicle:

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors on Tuesday unanimously voted to outlaw the sale and possession of “ghost gun” kits and parts in the city, marking a key moment in what is emerging as a statewide battle against the untraceable weapons.

The ordinance allows police and the city attorney’s office to go after manufacturers and providers who profit off the sale of ghost gun kits and parts. Officials would be able to build up trafficking cases against them. Each violation or sale of a part would be punishable by a $1,000 fine.
