US Nuclear Powerplant Restarted

From ZeroHedge:

In a move which may force the lunatic greens to storm the White House, on Wednesday the federal government announced that it would provide a $1.5 billion loan to restart a nuclear power plant in southwestern Michigan. NJ-based Holtec International acquired the 800-megawatt Palisades plant in 2022 with plans to dismantle it, but with support from the state of Michigan and the Biden administration, the emphasis has shifted to restarting the nuclear power plant by late 2025 instead.

Firearms Training And Its Sub Categories

From Ammoland:

… there are multiple disciplines within the firearms training and shooting world. Each discipline is unique unto itself. Sometimes the ‘colors’ (techniques and/or procedures) bleed or blend from one discipline into another, and sometimes they are polar opposites. Irrespective of any carryovers that exist, context absolutely matters.

The Forgotten Boer War

From War on the Rocks:

The British Army suffered a bloody and bruising experience in the Boer War. The war erupted in South Africa in October 1899 when the Boer republics of Orange Free State and Transvaal, infuriated by years of British political pressure and military threats, launched a pre-emptive war to secure their independence. Most of the British press greeted this with jingoistic glee and some journalists confidently predicted that the war would be “over by Christmas.”

But the war confounded expectations. Much of this was down to the nature of the Boer military. Although the Boers lacked a standing army, they possessed an effective militia system that mustered white citizens into units based on their local district. These men had no formal training but came from a frontier culture that produced tough individuals, many of whom were skilled marksmen and experienced riders. Most Boers went to war with their own rifles and horses, and the government provided equipment and mounts if required. These rugged frontiersmen would prove hardy and highly mobile fighters. It is little surprise that Winston Churchill, a veteran of the war himself, would later choose to name Britain’s first special forces Commandos, taking the word from the Boer term for military units.

Media Ignore AP Style Guide Rule About Guns

Back on July 14, 2022, even Alan Gottlieb at the Second Amendment Foundation expressed appreciation that the AP, which produces what is essentially the “bible” of the media—the Associated Press Stylebook—stated, “It’s about time the media realized the terms ‘assault rifle’ and ‘assault weapon’ are inflammatory and meaningless. Those terms have become part of the gun prohibition lobby’s lexicon, and unfortunately, journalists across the country have been all-too-willing to adopt their vocabulary and repeatedly use it in their reports.”

DOJ Sets Up Federal “Red Flag” Center, Usurping Congress

From Guns.com:

The Center was announced on Saturday in conjunction with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the latter of which earned its “Bloomberg” in 2001 following nearly $3 billion in donations from gun control advocate Michael Bloomberg. Funded by a DOJ grant, a public-facing website developed for the center offers an easy-to-use interface to help those curious navigate the process to obtain a “red flag” gun seizure order in 21 states and the District of Columbia, typically within two or three clicks from the homepage.

Another Attempt To “Fortify” An Election

From Rolling Stone:

Over the past year, Team Biden has been conducting war games, crafting complex legal strategies, and devoting extensive resources to prepare for, as one former senior Biden administration official puts it, “all-hell-breaks-loose” scenarios. The preparations include planning for a contingency in which Biden’s margin of victory is so razor-thin that Trump and the GOP launch a tidal wave of legal challenges and political maneuvers to rerun his 2020 election strategy: declare victory anyways, and try to will it into existence.

The War Over The Second Amendment

From Zero Hedge:

Thomas Jefferson in particular was vehemently opposed to a standing federal army. Like the rest of the Founders, he believed it was the responsibility of a citizens militia of ordinary Americans to defend their state, or in the rarest of circumstances, the entire country from an outside threat. He also made it clear that an armed citizenry was the best defense against government tyranny. As president, Jefferson slashed military spending. He noted, “Standing armies [are] inconsistent with [a people’s] freedom and subversive of their quiet.” In 1789, the author of the Declaration of Independence wrote, “There are instruments so dangerous to the rights of the nation and which place them so totally at the mercy of their governors….Such an instrument is a standing army.” No wonder he’s now a hopeless dead White “racist.”

You Are Responsible For Your Own Safety

From Ammoland:

In Pittsburgh, police staffing shortages are currently so critical that the Department has just announced its officers will no longer respond to calls involving theft, harassment, criminal mischief, burglary, etc, during the hours of three to seven am. That time gap is, of course, already expanding as staffing continues to decline and will soon embrace the entire day.

In plain English, police officers will not be arriving as a result of any call from a City resident unless shots are being fired and there are dead bodies lying around!

The Answer To Terrorism Is More Armed Citizens

From Ammoland:

Wray’s warning, however, was dire. He told the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence that known or suspected terrorists were infiltrating the country across the wide-open southern border using counterfeit documents. One of the smuggling networks, he said, has ties to ISIS. Add to this the thousands of unknown border crossers from countries that hate us and the more than 80,000 military-age males from China, and you have a terrorist hellbroth just waiting to bubble over.

We should thank Director Wray for his timely information and for his candor. This is precisely why we have fought so long and so hard to restore our Second Amendment rights so that law-abiding Americans no longer have to bend a knee and beg the Crown to sell them back their constitutional rights in the form of a permit to carry defensive arms. Constitutional carry levels the playing field, making it easier for the good guys and gals to lawfully carry arms.

Anti Gun Group Now Targeting NSSF

From Bearing Arms:

“Luckily, we at Brady know how to fight the NSSF because we’ve been fighting the NRA for years, and we’re seeing the disgraceful end of their organization play out because of our dedicated work. We may know their tricks, but we’re going to need all the support we can get if we’re going to overcome another extremist gun lobby group, and that’s why I’m reaching out today,” reads the email written under the name Kris Brown, President of Brady.
