FBI Director Unintentionally Gives Reason For Citizens To Be Armed

From Ammoland:

No doubt unintentionally, FBI Director Christopher Wray on Tuesday provided the greatest justification for the Second Amendment when he testified before the Senate Homeland Security Committee that “the ongoing war in the Middle East has raised the threat of an attack against Americans in the United States to a whole other level.”

According to Fox News, Wray told the committee, “We also cannot and do not discount the possibility that Hamas or another foreign terrorist organization may exploit the current conflict to conduct attacks here on our own soil.”

Gun Banners Have An Emotional Hatred of Freedom

From Bearing Arms:

The real fetishization is with banning guns, not owning them. Rifles are used in just a small fraction of violent crimes, and less than half of all active shooting incidents, yet an “assault weapons” ban remains the Unholy Grail of the gun control lobby. We know that banning drugs hasn’t eradicated overdose deaths any more than banning alcohol a century ago ended drinking. Handgun bans in Washington, D.C. and Chicago failed to reduce violent crime, and in fact homicide and violent crime in general are lower in those cities now than when their bans were in effect. So why are anti-gunners like Bouie and Hogg so adamantly convinced that it’ll somehow be different if we ban so-called assault weapons?

Confiscation Is Their Goal

From Bearing Arms:

While Joe Biden repeated his demand for Congress to pass a ban on so-called assault weapons on Thursday morning in response to the mass murder of 18 people in Lewiston, Maine, Vice President (and head of the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention) Kamala Harris upped the ante in a speech on Thursday afternoon at a luncheon for Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, where she lavished praise on Australia’s compensated confiscation, launched in 1997 after an active shooter attack in Port Arthur, Tasmania.

Armed Citizens Are Guardians Of Society

From Ammoland:

We will show how criminologists have been wearing ideological blinders that kept them from recognizing the benefits of armed civilians. We will cite research that shows Americans who own firearms do indeed protect their neighbors from criminal violence, and therefore, they should be seen as guardians. Using the logic developed by the criminologists, who believe that only unarmed guardians are beneficial to society, we will show that American firearm owners qualify as “guardians” just as much as, if not more than, unarmed civilians.

Rahimi Case Has Serious Consequences

From The Federalist:

The question before the court is: What is the standard of evidence needed to strip someone of their constitutional right to keep and bear arms? People lose their right to a gun when convicted of felonies and some violent misdemeanors. But should they lose that right after a mere noncriminal, civil decision — in the absence of a public hearing and a lawyer?

Judge Benitez: California Law Unconstitutional

From Bearing Arms:

U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez delivered another scathing rebuke to the state of California on Thursday, just weeks after declaring the state’s ban on “large capacity” magazines unconstitutional. This time around it was the state’s ban on “assault weapons” that was before the judge, in a case known as Miller v. Bonta. Benitez was unsparing in his criticism of the law, which he says bars ordinary Californians from possessing commonly-owned arms that are protected by the language of the Second Amendment.

Is There A Coordinated Attack on Civilian Ammo and Training?

These recent events could just be a coincidence:

ATF bans less-lethal training ammo:

Rumor Biden admin orders Lake City to cancel civilian contracts:

However, we started hearing from a number of people late this week that Lake City had moved to cancel all of its commercial contracts. We’ve also been told that distributor supplies of .223/5.56 had begun to be drained, as a result of the move by Lake City and in anticipation of higher civilian ammunition demand following last week’s terrorist attacks in Israel. Then Staple Defense published this report.

Explosion at Hornady plant:

One woman died and two men were injured Friday morning in an explosion at a Hornady Manufacturing plant west of Grand Island.

NM Governor Continues Her Tyrannical Assault On Bill of Rights

From Bearing Arms:

In defiance of the law and the Constitution, Grisham recently revised her public health order prohibiting firearms in parks, playgrounds and other public places where children go in Albuquerque. The governor also added a provision that tasks the state Department of Public Safety with organizing safe surrender events — also known as gun buybacks — in Albuquerque, Española and Las Cruces within a month. According to Maddy Hayden, a spokeswoman for the governor, the renewed order will remain in effect until Nov. 3.

As an additional slap in the face to New Mexicans, Grisham said, “We’re not letting up, and I’m continuing to make investments that drive down violence in our communities and protect our children.”

Armed Self Defense Is A Human Right

From Bearing Arms:

The terror attacks in Israel are going to be flooding, and really already have, the pages of Bearing Arms, as well as every other news outlet in the U.S. Ignoring foreign policy, ignoring the who, what, where, when, HOW, and why…there’s one singular thing that all of this should be teaching the people of the Union – and world at large; the Second Amendment is important.

Israeli Attacks Show Why All Citizens Should Be Armed

From The Federalist:

After the horrific terrorist attack by Hamas from Gaza, Israel’s government suddenly made it slightly easier for its citizens to own firearms for self-defense.

Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir announced Sunday in Hebrew an emergency declaration that will “allow as many citizens as possible to arm themselves.” Currently, a mere 1.5 percent of the civilian population has a license to own a gun.
