“Well Regulated” Does Not Mean What You Think
In SWAT‘s February 2014 issue Claire Wolfe deconstructs Dick Metcalf’s call for “reasonable regulations”.
Metcalf and the hoplophobes he aided think “well-regulated†means this: A legislature can pass a vaguely worded law; unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats fill in the details; and once these faceless ‘crats have come up with their faceless rules, their enforcers can bust us, fine us, even kill us if we don’t obey.

Showdown In Nevada Between Rancher and the Feds
Posted by Brian in Law, Threat Watch on 9/Apr/2014 13:49
Armed federal agents from the FBI and Bureau of Land Management have surrounded a ranch in Nevada in order to protect an endangered tortoise.
From The Washington Free Beacon:
His wife, Carol Bundy, said that roughly 200 armed agents from the BLM and FBI are stationed around their land, located about 75 miles outside of Las Vegas. Helicopters circle the premises, and the airspace and nearby roads remain blocked.
As of Monday, officials have seized 234 of Bundy’s 908 cattle. Impounding the cattle alone could cost the government as much as $3 million.
When the priority of the government goes this far astray is when people get hurt. Let’s hope the situation is resolved in a just manner.

Defense of the Second Amendment From Canada Free Press
Full article here.
Check out Title 18, USC, Section 241- Conspiracy Against Rights. Here is the important language of this law:
“This statute makes it unlawful for two or more persons to conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person of any state, territory or district in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him/her by the Constitution or the laws of the United States, (or because of his/her having exercised the same). Punishment varies from a fine or imprisonment of up to ten years, or both.â€
To freely exercise and enjoy the Second Amendment requires full access to all small arms, both commercial and military, regardless of characteristics, capacity, operation or action, or country of origin, and the ability to both own and carry them. It requires that merely the act of owning and carrying firearms is not in itself a crime, nor the supposition that a crime is intended, until the normal due process, rules of evidence and probable cause are followed, and an actual crime is established through the behavior, intent or action of a person, violating a specific criminal law.

Posted by Brian in Threat Watch on 8/Apr/2014 12:17
From Watchdog.org:
It may come as a surprise to many U.S. taxpayers, but a slew of federal agencies — some  whose responsibilities seem to have little to do with combating crime — carry active law enforcement operations.
Where Will MRAPs Go After Afghanistan Withdrawl?
