The Conspiracy To Use International Law To Attack Gun Rights
From Bearing Arms:
The parents of a student killed in the shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida have teamed up with Brady’s former chief litigator to file a “first-of-its-kind” complaint with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, alleging that “US gun policy violates basic human rights law” and deprived the Joaquin Oliver of his right to life.
In this case, Lowy and plaintiffs Manuel and Patricia Oliver, who founded the anti-gun group Change the Ref after their son was murdered, aren’t asking a U.S. court to rule that the Second Amendment is a violation of human rights. Instead, they’re taking their argument to an international body that has no real jurisdiction over the United States.
Feds Payout $127 Million After Failing To Follow Tips On Parkland Shooter
From The Daily Mail:
The US government has agreed to pay $127.5m to the relatives of 17 killed in a 2018 school shooting after admitting the FBI failed to follow up two tips that could have prevented it.
Federal officials confirmed the settlement with families of those murdered, as well as survivors, following the February 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, by former student Nikolas Cruz.
Media Blackout On The 2nd Amendment
Media refuses to acknowledge pro-rights supporters.
From Fox News:
The cover of Time magazine this week features five anti-gun survivors of the Parkland, Fla., high school massacre, but has drawn criticism for pointedly omitting their pro-Second Amendment classmates.
One of those students, Kyle Kashuv, has been a prominent advocate for preventing violence while respecting gun rights in the weeks since the Feb. 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
Parkland Officer Could Have Saved Students
From IJR.com:
Andrew Pollack’s daughter, Meadow, was killed during the shooting in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and he knows his daughter could be alive today if the sheriff’s deputy had acted.
