Is This The New Survival Rifle?

From Ammoland:

The KelTec Sub-2000 Carbine is a 9mm direct blowback carbine that feeds from stagger-column Glock-pattern magazines. You read that right, the KelTec Sub 2000 feeds from Glock magazines – at least, this version does. The model reviewed is designed specifically for Glock 19-pattern mags, meaning it can utilize Glock 19, Glock 17, and any 9mm Glock magazine with a capacity of over 15 rounds. (Or ten rounds in ban states.)

The Case For Owning An AR-15

From Medium:

There’s a common misconception in the media about the eventuality for which the preppers are exactly prepping. That’s because they’re a diverse group, and prep for many different things. No, they aren’t planning for a revolution to overthrow the government. (Most of them, anyway.) Mostly they’re planning to keep themselves and their families safe while someone else tries to overthrow the government. That, or zombies. (More on zombies below.)

Urban Surival Pack

Monderno has an extensive rundown of what you need to have with you everyday to survive an urban disaster.

The best way to be prepared for most people is going to be to build an Urban EDC Kit, sometimes called an Urban Survival Kit (USK). The reason we won’t focus as much on the survival aspect of the kit is because in your vehicle you should have a 72 hour survival kit, which is of course built to keep you alive for a minimum of 72 hours. If a disaster were to strike while you are at the office, odds are pretty high that you will at least be able to stop by your vehicle if you need to, even if you can’t get in and drive home.

Why Surrender Is Never an Option

The Phases of Surrender

The first phase of surrender is failing to be armed, trained and committed to fight.  We are prepared to surrender when we are unprepared to resist.
The second phase of surrender is failing to be alert.  You must see trouble coming in order to have time to respond.  The warning may be less than one second but it will be there and it must be recognized and acted upon immediately.
The Third phase of surrender is giving up your weapons.
The last phase of surrender is up to the monsters who have taken control of your life and perhaps the lives of your loved ones.  The last phase of surrender is out of your hands.
