When To Introduce Guns
From Guns.com:
Working in the gun industry, people often ask me when they should introduce their kids to guns. What I’ve learned over the years teaching my own kids about the subject is that it’s different for every child. Through trial and error, I found that certain lessons help more than others. While introducing shooting to kids early helps, so does taking incremental steps so they learn and appreciate the sport.
Get Fit and Stay Armed
From Guns.com:
Perfecting that beach body isn’t always easy, especially if you want to be comfortable and protected at the same time. You don’t have to sacrifice fitness for protection though if you know what to look for. Guns like the Glock 42, Sig P365, and Ruger LCP are all very concealable and pair well with a plethora of holsters designed for workout. Deciding which holster and gun combo that will work for you is as much dependent on the types of movement you plan on doing as it is the caliber you like.
Using 3-Gun Matches To Stay In Shape
From Guns.com:
3-Gun competition is unique in that you use three different shooting platforms, but just like a lot of other shooting sports it gets you off the shooting line and moving around. “It’s a pretty physical endeavor… if you want to shoot open and you at to race really hard you have to be in shape,†said Jerry Miculek.
It’s not just the physical limits you’ll be pushing, it’s as much a mental game as it is a physical one.

Illinois Introduces Bill To Fingerprint Anyone Who Wants To TOUCH A Gun
From The Truth About Guns:
The Illinois House Wednesday passed a bill to require the submission of fingerprints, along with higher fees in order to own, shoot or even handle a firearm or ammunition. Kathleen Willis’ Amendments to SB-1966 would also end private firearm transfers and even require immediate family members gifted a firearm to report themselves to the Illinois State Police under penalty of a felony.
The bill passed solely with Democrat votes, Democrats who claim to fight for poor, inner-city minorities. At least at election time. SB-1966, with its increased fees, has a guaranteed disparate impact upon poor people of color within the Land of Lincoln.
