US to end its combat mission in Iraq by the end of this month?
Posted by Jack Sinclair in News on 2/Aug/2010 19:33
“…the United States is on track to end its combat mission in Iraq by the end of this month, transitioning from a military to a civilian-led effort.
Though Iraq is now grappling with political uncertainty five months after a parliamentary election, and with bomb attacks in Baghdad and other cities, the president and others in his administration are highlighting the coming formal end of the U.S. combat mission.
The president said 90,000 troops will have come home from Iraq by the end of August. He noted the United States is in the process of moving millions of pieces of equipment from Iraq, and continues to close or turn over military bases to Iraqi government troops.”
Going around lawmakers to let illegal immigrants stay?
Posted by Jack Sinclair in News on 2/Aug/2010 19:27
“WASHINGTON – The Obama administration is considering ways it could go around lawmakers to let illegal immigrants stay in the United States, according to an agency memo.
The internal draft written by officials at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services outlines ways the government could provide “relief” to illegal immigrants – including delaying deportation for some, perhaps indefinitely, or granting green cards to others – in the absence of legislation revamping the system.
It’s emerging as chances fade in this election year for a measure President Barack Obama favors to put the nation’s estimated 12 million illegal immigrants on a path to legal status, and as debate rages over an Arizona law targeting people suspected of being in the country illegally.”
Petraeus Issues First Guidance to Allied Troops in Afghanistan
Posted by Jack Sinclair in News on 2/Aug/2010 19:09
“The U.S. and international commander in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, who took command a month ago, has issued his first guidance document for the nearly 150,000 troops under his command. He is emphasizing the need to provide security and good governance for the Afghan people.
In a three-and-a-half-page document, General Petraeus’ first two guidance points order his forces to “secure and serve the population” and “live among the people.” His 24 points also include fighting corruption and abuse of power, which he says fuel the insurgency. He also tells the troops to “pursue the enemy relentlessly,” to “fight hard” and also “with discipline,” and to consult local people and their leaders as they make plans.”

“This rig has served me well and has come about after a long process of trial and error. The Glock 26 with crimson trace laser, milt sparks versimax 2 holster, ted blocker belt and blackhawk cqc magazine / flashlight carrier is an excellent system for most users.”

Massachusetts to citizens: No more petitions for you
Posted by Jack Sinclair in Law, News on 1/Aug/2010 17:26
“An amendment of the Massachusetts Constitution proposed by Democrats could virtually put an end to citizen-initiated referenda in the state.
The amendment, proposed jointly by state Rep. Byron Rushing in the House and by state Sen. Cynthia Stone Creem in the Senate, would exclude any citizen petition that deals with issues concerning a person’s right to “the enjoyment of life, liberty and property, according to standing laws.”
15 more execution-style murder victims were found in Northern Mexico

“Tamaulipas was the scene of yet another harvest of death as the bodies of 15 more execution-style murder victims were found abandoned by their killers on the highway between Matamoros and San Fernando Thursday afternoon, July 29.
The 13 men and 2 women were found with their hands bound with plastic cable ties, faces bandaged and with visible marks of torture and beatings. All had been executed with a shot to the head.”
Sheik Ibrahim Mudeiris: “The day will come when we will rule America.”
Posted by Jack Sinclair in Opinion, Threat Watch on 1/Aug/2010 14:05
Palestinian Sheik Ibrahim Mudeiris, said in a sermon on Palestinian television in May 2005:
“We [Muslims] have ruled the world before, and by Allah, the day will come when we will rule the entire world again.
The day will come when we will rule America.
The day will come when we will rule Britain and the entire world – except for the Jews. The Jews will not enjoy a life of tranquility under our rule, because they are treacherous by nature, as they have been throughout history.
The day will come when everything will be relieved of the Jews.”
In other words, Islam is more than just a religion. It is a totalitarian, genocidal political movement.
John Brennan, Obama’s homeland security adviser, has stated that the U.S. is no longer in a “war on terrorism” or fighting against “jihadists.”
The fact is that the West is at war with global jihad.
This is a war that began against the United States on Sept. 11, 2001, in which about 3,000 Americans were murdered by the Islamic attack on the twin World Trade Center towers in Manhattan and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
What is global jihad?
It is the determined effort of the Islamic world to impose the religion of Islam and Shariah law on the entire world.
In Europe, this effort is being waged by massive immigration of Muslims into Spain, France, England, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Scandinavia.
Radical Muslims have:
– bombed trains in Spain,
– bombed subways and buses in London,
– assassinated an anti-Islamic cinematographer in Holland,
– threatened to kill a cartoonist in Denmark for depicting Muhammad in a less than a complimentary manner.– al-Qaida has announced that it has created an army in Yemen of 15,000 fighters
They have also murdered Christians and burned churches in Nigeria, Pakistan and Indonesia.
In her book, “Shackled Warrior,” Caroline Glick writes (p. 208):
“Throughout the world, Islamic ideologues are aggressively spreading their message of global domination. In mosques, on the Internet, on television, in schools, hospitals and prisons, Islamic preachers can be found propagating the cause of Islamic domination.”
