Defense Media Network reports on a war game that involves an Israeli attack on Iran.
In the summer of 2010, Clash of Arms published a wargame that I, along with Chris Carlson and Jeff Dougherty, had designed. A political-military simulation, Persian Incursion explored the consequences of an Israeli military campaign to stop Iran’s nuclear weapons development program.
$10 Million Bounty for Hafiz Mohammad Saeed

It is believed that Hafiz Mohammad Saeed planned the 2008 Mumbai attacks and the US is now offering a bounty for any “information leading to the arrest and conviction†of Saeed.

U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said the decision to place a bounty on Saeed was driven by his alleged role in the November 2008 attacks in India’s financial capital Mumbai and recent high-profile public appearances.
“It has everything to do with Mumbai and his brazen flouting of the justice system,†Nuland said in Washington.

Where2Shoot allows users to search for ranges near their current location or by zip code and state. The search then provides specific information on each range, such as the shooting activities offered, accessibility and contact information. The app also includes news, safety information and tips for interested shooters.
Savage Arms Cancels 300BLK Rifle

Some time ago, Savage announced it would be chambering the Model 10 Precision Carbine in 300 AAC Blackout. Since that time, we have tested many variants of this cartridge in various barrel lengths and rates of twist. This exhaustive testing left us quite unsatisfied with the accuracy we were able to get from the subsonic loads in this chambering. Accuracy with the lighter, faster loads in this caliber was actually quite good. But we believe the real value in this cartridge lies in the use of subsonic loads for suppressed rifles. Therefore we have decided to scrap the project.
It is our understanding that pushing these heavy, slow bullets presents challenges not found in typical loadings and that our experience is not unique. Subsequently, many in the industry have simply adopted a lower standard for accuracy for these subsonic loads. While this does seem reasonable and we don’t criticize any in our industry that have taken this approach, it just won’t work for Savage.
Our brand was built on accuracy and we are too protective of our reputation for building the most accurate factory rifles available. We would rather walk away from this opportunity than sell a product that requires an explanation.

The Houston Chronicle reports Texas Reps. Ted Poe and Henry Cuellar have been joined by 17 border sheriffs from Texas, New Mexico and Arizona in a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta requesting that he move up delivery of surplus equipment.

Bill Allows CCW Permits to Under-21s in the Military
Florida, the vanguard of pro gun legislation, has proposed to allow concealed carry permits to anyone in the military regardless of age, as long as they are qualified.

The bill, officially known as House Bill 463, was authored by Florida Carry, a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots organization dedicated to advancing the fundamental civil right of all Floridians to keep and bear arms for self-defense.
“Those who defend our country overseas should be able to defend themselves and their families at home. There have been too many incidences of violence against our troops who have just returned from overseas deployments and found themselves defenseless at home” the group said in a press release.
