ATF “Tweaking” “Sporting” Definition For Ammo
From Gun Rights Examiner:
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ classification of pistol grip only firearms with 14†barrels that fire shotgun shells and are over 26†in overall length as neither “shotguns†nor National Firearms Act “Destructive Devices†or “Any Other Weapons†has created a situation wherein the agency must either quietly save face or have it exposed that untold numbers of good faith gun owners currently legally possess firearms problematic for the government to allow. In order for that status quo to continue, ATF, in conjunction with certain members of Congress and lobbying interests, is working at “tweaking†its definition of the arbitrary “sporting use†term, insider sources tell Gun RightsExaminer. And with that will come a push to expand definitions to allow for further importation bans on certain types of presently legal ammunition.
The History of the M16
From Tactical Life:
Eugene Stoner was, by all objective, accounts a visionary. As a speculative venture while working for the Fairchild Engine and Aircraft Corporation in California in the mid-1950s, he designed the earliest iteration of what would eventually become the M16.
Applying aluminum casting technology and advanced polymer science perfected for the aircraft industry in World War II, Stoner designed an elegant, lightweight rifle that rethought what it meant to be a military weapon. Where everybody else in the world used Parkerized steel and walnut, Stoner used aluminum and plastic.

Majority Of Blacks Favor Gun Ownership
From NPR:
According to a survey by the Pew Research Center, 54 percent of blacks now see gun ownership as a good thing, something more likely to protect than harm. That’s up from 29 percent just two years ago. In places like Detroit, more African-Americans are getting permits to carry concealed weapons.
Tampa Bay Times Anti-gun Editorial
It’s been a banner session in Tallahassee for gun zealots and the National Rifle Association and a terrible one for common sense and public safety. In the past weeks, the Senate passed a bill allowing gun owners to carry their weapons in public during a declared state of emergency. It also moved closer to allowing guns on college campuses. The House, meanwhile, killed a bill that would have barred backyard shooting ranges. With the state and the Tampa Bay area awash in gun violence, it was a stunning display of this Legislature’s blatant disregard for public safety.
In an attempt to prove this premise, they touch on the “contrived†arguments for campus carry, arguments that rest on the idea of armed women stopping “murderers and rapists.â€
The problem with this line of thinking is that conservatives believe women are as capable of stopping murderers and rapists as men are, given one important tool…a gun. Conservatives do not agree with the Times, Salon, Shannon Watts, Moms Demand Action, Everytown for Gun Safety, and others who [are paid to] or pretend the idea of arming women is foolish.

From Breitbart:
In the alpha footage of the game’s single-player campaign shown at the Gamescom trade show in August of 2014, a playthrough of a level which pitted the player character against a number of racist, extremist militia members contained imagery and dialogue that suggested the enemies were related to the Tea Party movement.

Iraqi Caught Crossing Texas-Mexico Border
Posted by Brian in News, Threat Watch on 7/Apr/2015 17:21
From Breibart:
Breitbart Texas exclusively obtained leaked information on the Iraqi man who was apprehended while illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border into Texas on February 12, 2015. The Border Patrol agent responsible for interviewing the subject initially expressed concerns that the Iraqi was sent by Russia, largely due to the Iraqi man’s history as a military trainer, his speaking several languages, including Russian, and his having lived in Crimea, according to one of the leaked documents. Breitbart Texas was provided with two documents by a federal agent who works under the umbrella of Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The agent insisted on remaining anonymous.
