Beginner Pistols In .22 LR
From Guns.com:
Several manufacturers make .22s with the same basic (or very similar) dimensions as their larger caliber handguns. This is an awesome way to transition to more firepower in the future, and you’ll already be familiar with the mechanics, trigger, etc. of a particular brand of gun. Occasionally, because the frame is so similar, you can share a good holster between the two.
Reporter’s Gun Ignorance On Display
From The Federalist:
A Washington Post report on firearm suppressors published over the weekend wildly misrepresented a YouTube video showcasing the sound-suppressing effects of a .22 LR rifle suppressor. The YouTube video formed the basis of Washington Post reporter Mike Rosenwald’s inaccurate conclusion that suppressors can make “high-powered rifles†nearly silent.
Washington Shooter Allegedly Used 10/22
Posted by Brian in News, Threat Watch on 30/Sep/2016 07:00
From ABC News:
Cetin’s mother helped to identify him from surveillance camera images released by police. The arrest warrant said Cetin allegedly used a Ruger 10-22 that had a 25-round magazine.
This just shows that even if all AR-15s were banned crazy people will just go to the next available gun. Anti-gunners will use these instances to say there is a need to ban more and more guns until they are all banned.

.22 AK Trainer
From AllOutdoor.com:
GSG AK47-22 currently imported by ATI is the logical offering for the training market. Designed to mimic controls and overall feel of the 7.62 and 5.45 AK rifles, it appeals most to those who train CQB extensively and burn up significant amounts of ammunition in the process. However scarce and expensive 22LR has recently become, it is still far more affordable than centerfire ammunition. Rimfire ammunition also erodes range backstops substantially less, allowing indoor carbine training at pistol-only facilities.

Taurus 22/25 PLY Pocket Pistols
The Taurus 22PLY and 25PLY in polymer frames make the already light guns into super-light guns weighing only 10.8 oz. Both models feature a blowback action and tip-up barrel design for the added convenience of not having to rack the gun before shooting. Â The reverse fish-scale serrations on the slide add to the sleek look of the gun. Â The extended magazine base and full body contouring provides a larger, improved and more comfortable grip. Â The trigger guard is designed for added finger purchases. Â The magazine release is conveniently located on the trigger guard for quick changes. Â Taurus is constantly mindful of safety and has incorporated the magazine disconnect and a manual safety on the 22PLY and 25PLY. More info at taurususa.com
