Billionaire Wants To Take Your Guns And Is Spending Millions To Do It

Bloomberg has, in a just a few months of running for presidency, spent around $200 million in the primary — approximately $194 million more than the NRA spends on an average year in lobbying Congress and approximately $170 million more than the NRA spent on the entire 2016 election.
The $11 million Bloomberg reportedly spent on his Super Bowl is $11 million more than the notorious “gun lobby†has spent on national television advertising, probably over the past decade, if not forever.
That doesn’t even account for the numerous political entities Bloomberg funds, such as “Everytown for Gun Safety,†the gun-control group he co-founded, which announced recently that it is going to spend $60 million on the 2020 elections — or more than the NRA has ever spent in any election cycle ever.
Gun Control Ad Uses False Stats

Michael Bloomberg’s Super Bowl ad, which presents the Democratic presidential contender as a brave advocate of public safety who is not afraid to take on “the gun lobby,” claims “2,900 children die from gun violence every year” in the United States, which is not true. That number includes young adults as well as minors, and it includes suicides as well as homicides.
Florida Republicans Exempt Themselves From Gun Law

Coincidentally, both bills grant an exemption to Florida lawmakers and elected officials from the CCW ban. Currently, under Statute 790.06(12)(a)(7), it is illegal for a licensed concealed weapons permit holder to carry at:
7. Any meeting of the governing body of a county, public school district, municipality, or special district.
That’s apparently inconvenient for the lawmakers, therefore something must be done. They wish to amend the law and grant themselves and their minor league municipal political teammates an exemption to the prohibition. The wording of the proposed bills states the following:

Any meeting of the governing body of a county, public school district, municipality, or special district, except that nothing in this section precludes an elected member of the governing body of a county, public school district, municipality, or special district licensed under this section from carrying a concealed weapon or firearm to a meeting of the governing body of which he or she is a member;
No Guns For “Average” Americans

“You just do not want the average American carrying a gun in a crowded place,†said the former New York mayor. Actually, I do want the average American to be able to exercise their right to bear arms, as more than 18-million Americans who possess a concealed carry license currently do. That also doesn’t take into account the millions more who live in states that don’t require a license or permit in order for legal gun owners to lawfully carry.
Bloomberg Group Attacks 80% Lowers

Everytown, a Bloomberg-funded gun control group, petitioned federal regulators this week to change how so-called “80 percent†receivers are handled.
Everytown even supplied suggested language for a proposed rulemaking change to ATF, one that would treat unfinished receivers and frames as regular firearms, with all the red-tape and inevitable FFL transfer fees that come along with it:
Bloomberg’s Plan For National Gun Prohibition

Bloomberg’s plan focuses on five basic tenets: requiring more effective background checks, keeping guns out of the wrong hands, banning assault weapons, spending more on enforcement of gun laws and violence intervention programs, and repealing the 2005 law that granted broad legal immunity to gun manufacturers whose products are used in a shooting.
Washington Museum To Return Firearms Because Of I-594

The controversial 18-page ballot referendum, which voters approved by a 9-point margin earlier this month, greatly expands background check requirements to include most private gun sales and transfers. While supporters held that the measure’s intent was to close a dangerous loophole which provided criminals with guns, all the Lynden Pioneer Museum knows is that they now have to pull 11 vintage rifles currently on display and return them to donors to become compliant with the new law.
Did Washingtonians know that this is what they were voting for? Laws like this actually create criminals where none existed before. Many museums are stocked with items that are on loan because they don’t have very much money. Now the people of Washington are denied the ability to learn and experience history. Thank you Bloomberg for denying children an education.
Bloomberg Starts Grass Roots Org. With Millions Of Dollars

Bloomberg is now hoping that the fourth time is a charm, as he’s launched a $50 million vanity project, Everytown for Gun Safety. The prevailing theory behind the effort seems to be an attempt to market gun prohibition as “gun safety,†while attempting to destroy the number one gun safety organization the world has ever known, the National Rifle Association.
