ATF Targeting 80% Industry
From Ammoland:
Although the detailed discussions of the meeting are unknown at this time, AmmoLand News received leaked emails from our sources that show that the ATF is seeking a new definition of a firearm. Joe Biden has targeted so-called “ghost guns†and semi-automatic rifles and recent days. Sources say he is pushing to accelerate those changes by using the ATF as a stop-gap for stalled federal legislation.
Pennsylvania Gov Declares Unfinished Firearms Same As Firearms
From Guns.com:
“My Office is taking the initial step of clarifying – through my official, legal opinion – that under Pennsylvania law, 80 percent receivers are firearms and can be treated, regulated, and enforced as such,†Shapiro said at a news conference with Wolf and State Police officials.
The six-page opinion, issued to Col. Robert Evanchick, the State Police Commissioner, concludes that a partially-manufactured receiver is a firearm if it is designed in a way that it “may be readily converted†to a completed receiver. This would result in such items being treated under the law as factory-produced firearms, with serial numbers, federal background checks and the like.
Sheriff Will Refuse Gun Registration Executive Order
From Fox News:
An Indiana sheriff vowed that he will not enforce any executive actions by President Obama requiring law enforcement officers to begin registering firearms.
Elkhart County Sheriff Bradley D. Rogers made the remarks in a recent panel discussion on local TV station WNIT.
“If President Obama today said, ‘I’m creating an executive order that all sheriffs and police chiefs around this nation need to start registering firearms,’ I will disregard it,†he said.
CDC Classifies Gun Violence as a Contagious Disease
From Sunshine State News:
The study was commissioned in January as one of Obama’s 23 executive orders to enact gun control. To get Congress to fund it with taxpayers’ money, the CDC had to classify gun violence as “a contagious disease.”  It’s all phony baloney, but after Sandy Hook, the general feeling in the corridors of the White House was that the end justifies the means.
