Anti-gun Activist Attempted To Shoot Mayoral Candidate

Quintez Brown, 21, was charged late Monday with attempted murder and four counts of wanton endangerment after Greenberg was shot at in his campaign headquarters that morning.
No one was injured in the shooting, but a bullet grazed Greenberg’s sweater and shirt.
Kentucky Cities Must Allow Government Employees To Carry Guns

Kentucky’s local governments cannot prevent their employees from carrying weapons “at all times and places†while on duty, according to a state attorney general’s opinion released Monday.
Right To Self Defense Knows No Bounds

Last Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky, about 300 armed members of the NFAC (Not Fucking Around Coalition), a self-described “black militia” based in Atlanta, had what the Louisville Courier-Journal called “a tense standoff” with about 50 armed Three Percenters, which the paper described as a “far-right…militia.” While the incident, which ended without violence, could be seen as yet another sign that the country is descending into 1968-style chaos, it was also a striking illustration of the Second Amendment’s enduring practical and symbolic importance that scrambled conventional stereotypes about the right to armed self-defense.
Kentucky To Consider Red Flag Laws

On Friday, November 22nd, the Kentucky state Interim Joint Committee on Judiciary will consider so called “red-flag laws.†Though no legislation has been introduced, such laws usually allow for Second Amendment rights to be suspended and firearms seized without due process. Please contact leadership of the General Assembly, as well as the committee, and urge them to oppose these firearm confiscation schemes.
Kentucky Passes Constitutional Carry

The Republican-led Senate approved Senate Bill 150 on a 29-8 vote and sent it to the GOP-led House for its consideration. Kentucky could become the 15th state in the nation to adopt a permitless carry law.
Woman Stops Mass Shooter After Online Threat

Ms. Bull could have written off the message as meaningless trolling, but when she saw that the sender had a gun in his profile picture, she decided to make sure he wasn’t a real-life threat. As it turned out, the sender, named Dylan Jarrell, was from Lawrenceburg, Kentucky – more than 600 miles away from her. Nevertheless, Ms. Bull called the Kentucky State Police and spoke with an officer who took her report very seriously.
With very fortunate timing, police found and stopped Jarrell right as he was pulling out of his driveway with, lo and behold, mountains of evidence that he was about to attack innocent people.
State and Local Officials Won’t Enforce Gun Laws

But in Oregon, Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller wrote a letter to Biden Monday saying his department will not enforce any new gun laws it considers unconstitutional.
Meanwhile, 1200 WOAI reports that in Texas, Republican state Rep. Steve Toth plans to introduce a bill that would make it illegal to enforce in the state any federal laws restricting semi-automatic firearms or the size of gun magazines.
