New Jersey -Â -(Ammoland.com)- The newly emerged Firearms Equality Movement is gaining more steam among manufactures and gun rights supporters alike.
The firearms industry, in reaction to the Governor of New York ramming through the NY SAFE Act which banned AR15 style rifles, has seen multiple manufactures revise their firearms sales polices to restrict LEO and Police Agencies from only buying the same level of firepower as is allowed for the average citizen of their state.
Thereby helping to make the citizens equal to police and law enforcement agencies with in the same state, and, in some part, making rouge politicians accountable for their actions trying to disarm the people.
It is important to note that the Movement is not asking industry to join a “conspiracy†but only to make their own sales policies support the right of the individual to keep and bear the same arms as all other classes of people in their respective states. The Firearms Movement is just that, a movement and not collusion, as some have suggested. In the end each and every company is free to do business as they wish.
The List of Manufactures as complied by NC Gun Blog has continued to grow and at last count (2-27-2013)Â included the following.

As of yet we have not seen the big four manufactures, Glock, Sig Saur, Smith & Wesson and Ruger, that supply the majority of police contracts, make the same policy changes but I am still hopeful that they will move to support their biggest customer of all, the American people.
It is great to see manufactures banding together to protect the rights of their customers and hold politicians accountable for their acts disarming the American public.
As this movement evolves I would like to see this become an unsaid blanket policy that apply to all states, especially New Jersey, Maryland, California and anywhere else where honest law abiding citizens right to keep and bear arms of equal fire power as the state the live in.

Dear Governor Cuomo, Senators Klein, Marchione, Skelos, Stewart-Cousins, and Chairman Cox;
By this correspondence, the Saratoga County Deputy Sheriffs’ Pol ice Benevolent Association (SCDSPBA) would like to announce our strong opposition to the passage of the SAFE Act and the manner in which is was negotiated and subsequently voted upon. The SCDSPBA represents the sworn men and women police officers of the Saratoga County Sheriff’ s Office.
Our objections to the legislation are numerous and begin with the process under which the bill was voted on in the Senate. It is deeply disturbing to our membership, as public servants and citizens of the state of New York. the manner in which this legislation was brought to the Senate for vote. It is our understanding that many senators had approximately 20 minutes to read the legislation before being forced to vote on it and note that the bill was brought before the Senate and voted on so quickly that its authors failed to make provisions for the exemption of police officers or the National Guard with respect to the new magazine-capacity requirements. Olympic Arms Refuses Sales To All NY Law Enforcement
In the wake of LaRue Tactical’s decision to only sell civilian versions of guns to law enforcement, Olympic Arms has posted a press release on their Facebook page that states they will no longer sell their product to any government agency of the state of New York.
In short, Olympic Arms will no longer be doing business with the State of New York or any governmental entity or employee of such governmental entity within the State of New York – henceforth and until such legislation is repealed, and an apology made to the good people of the State of New York and the American people.
Emotional Liberals Pass Gun Legislation in New York
Posted by Brian in Law, News, Threat Watch on 15/Jan/2013 17:22
The state of New York doesn’t deserve to have the Statue of Liberty. They no longer know what the word liberty means. I have suggested to a few friends, that we need to find a liberty loving billionaire, and just take the statue from them.
From the Washington Times:
Current owners of a now-certified “high capacity ammunition feeding device†— over 7 rounds — will have one year to sell or give them away out of state or face a class A misdemeanor charge. Dealers will have to start recording every ammunition sale with the buyer’s name, age, occupation and residence.
Gun retailers will have to record for the state police every sale that involves a firearm. The seller will have to record the buyer’s name,  age,  occupation and home address, along with the calibre, make, model, manufacturer’s name and serial number.

Russian Spies Indicted in New York

A Kazakhstan-born owner of a Texas export firm was charged in New York on Wednesday with being a secret Russian agent involved in a multimillion-dollar scheme to, in the words a U.S. prosecutor, “steal American technology†for Russian military and intelligence agencies.
New York Attempting To Ban Knives
Here is another example of the police state’s determination to disarm its citizens of any means of defense against criminals. First it was firearms, now knives and edged weapons. Knife Rights, an organization similar to the NRA, is challenging New York on behalf of retailers and citizens alike.
From AmmoLand:
Like other retailers who were threatened with prosecution (Home Depot and Ace Hardware among them), Native Leather surrendered much of its knife inventory, made substantial monetary payments, and stopped selling a number of common pocket knives (mischaracterized by the City as “gravity knives†and “switchbladesâ€) to avoid the DA’s wrath. Because of the vagueness and inconsistency in the way the City and DA interpret state law, Native Leather still has no definite means of determining whether the DA’s office will once again allege that its knives are illegal in the future.
Egyptian Mosque Investor contributed to Terror Group – thought it was a Charity.
Posted by Jack Sinclair in News on 3/Sep/2010 19:01
MYFOXNY.COM – Fox 5 News reported Thursday that one of the financial backers of the Islamic mosque and cultural center project in Lower Manhattan once contributed to a terror group, although the investor says the contribution was made because he thought he was giving money to a harmless charity.
One of the key players in Sharif El-Gamal’s Mosque near Ground Zero is Egyptian born businessman, Hisham Elzanaty. Fox 5 News has learned exclusively and confirmed with Mr. Elzanaty’s attorney that Elzanaty made a “significant investment†in the development of the mosque near Ground Zero.
Jack: I’m sure it was an honest mistake. Why would he lie? (taqiyya!)
No, really, how could he know, since nearly every Islamic terror group out there masquerades as a charity?
Ground Zero Mosque Imam Rauf: ‘New York is the capital of the world and this location close to 9/11 is iconic.’
Posted by Jack Sinclair in News on 20/Aug/2010 21:04
Robert Spencer, the JihadWatch blogger:
“The idea here that will be widely understood is that this mosque is another triumphal mosque, another victory mosque [like] the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the site of the Temple Mount and the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus,” Spencer told WND today.
“The reason for the interest in this property in particular is its iconic status in relation to the 9/11 attacks. This is something the Imam Rauf has said himself. It’s not something I’m attributing to him,” Spencer explains.
“In his own words he said, ‘New York is the capital of the world and this location close to 9/11 is iconic.’ He was happy that his mosque would be at the site of the building [where] the wreckage fell on 9/11,” Spencer said.
Democrat Majority Whip James Clyburn on the NYC Mosque: “community standards ought to be left up to the communities”

By Bryan Fischer
“I have argued that building permits can and should be denied for the building of mosques in American cities because each mosque is a potential or actual recruitment and training center for terrorism against the United States.
Mosques cannot claim protection under the First Amendment for the simple reason that the agenda of Islam is the total destruction of Western civilization in general and America in particular.
More than 100 verses (109 to be exact) in the Koran call upon Muslims to shed innocent infidel blood.
There may be moderate Muslims, but there is no such thing as moderate Islam. And until we have a foolproof way of knowing when moderate Muslims will suddenly turn devout and start shooting up idolaters, like Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan did, then the risk is simply too great to allow their indoctrination centers to sprout like weeds.
Today’s Taqiyya: The purpose of the Ground Zero, Cordoba mosque is healing, reconciliation and harmony
Posted by Jack Sinclair in Opinion, Threat Watch on 17/Aug/2010 22:42
“If, as backers claim, the purpose of this Cordoba mosque and community center were healing, reconciliation and harmony, it has failed in its purpose. It has already had the opposite effect, enraging and dividing the city and country.
Why would backers of the project press ahead when its purpose is impossible to attain, unless the real purpose were to impose on the people of New York a mosque they do not want there?
