D.C. Police Above The Law

From The Washington Times:

Using a Freedom of Information Act request, I uncovered emails between the chief, the senator’s (Diane Feinstein) staff and the sergeant at arms office in which they coordinated how to transfer the weapons, without technically breaking laws for which civilians have been jailed.

The D.C. police continue to flaunt the law in service of the Statist Senator Feinstein, while arresting non-violent “criminals” who dare to try and protect themselves from rampant crime in the Capital.

To justify the proposed rule, the administration and BATFE have stated that over 39,000 applications for transfers of NFA firearms to trusts or corporations were received in 2012 alone.  Nevertheless, the agency cited not a single case in which an NFA firearm transferred to a legal entity was used in the commission of a crime.

Tea Party is “Domestic Enemy”

The Statist Rep. Steve Cohen cited the Constitution in reference to the Tea Party as a domestic enemy in the interview below. I guess the tiniest positive is that a Democrat finally found a reason to cite the Constitution. His elitist rhetoric about new members of congress, would normally not concern me but his incendiary and bombastic comment at the end of the video is the kind of hyperbole that Statists accuse the Tea Party of. What Steve Cohen fails to grasp is that the people he is referring to were elected by their respective constituents. They are fulfilling their promise unlike most representatives and senators. Mr. Cohen would do well to remember that.

ATF Prosecution of Legal Gun Purchases Goes to Supreme Court

From Rep. Steve Stockman:

Federal law does not prohibit one eligible person from buying a gun for another eligible person.  It is perfectly legal to buy a gun for an eligible gunowner.  The law only prohibits transfers to ineligible people.  Neither Abramski nor his uncle was ineligible.
