Cops Denied Service at Restaurant
From Guns.com:
A Prince William County resident named Daryl LaClair was so outraged he wrote a letter to the executives of BW3 at their headquarters in Minnesota complaining about the incident. He also started a public awareness campaign to spread word of the company’s alleged mistreatment of law enforcement.
Colorado Boycotted By Hunters
From The Washington Times:
“There’s a united front of sportsmen that are tired of having their freedoms and liberties and fundamental rights taken away from them,†said Northwest Colorado hunting guide Chris Jurney in the CBS report. “That kind of unity among sportsmen is going to be big, and unfortunately for those of us who live here, we’re going to suffer the consequences of this misguided legislation.â€
An executive for the Outdoor Channel, Michael Bane, says he’s not filming the show’s four productions in the state any longer, CBS says. And hunters have started canceling their trips to the state, the Colorado Springs Gazette reports.

Senators Hint At Fillibuster On Gun Legislation
From Politico:

White House responds in predictable fashion:
“A vote ought to be held on all these elements,†said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “It is what the victims of gun violence deserve. I don’t think you could tell the families of those who have lost their children to gun violence — that bills like this might be filibustered.â€

States Preempting Feds On Gun Laws
From CNSNews.com:
On March 12 and 14, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed both Sen. Charles Schumer’s (D-NY) “Fix Gun Checks Act,” which would criminalize all private firearm sales and Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s (D-CA) “Assault Weapons Ban.”
These bills have a long way to go before they become law – if they ever do – but states across the nation are introducing their own legislation to preemptively defeat any new federal gun laws.
Sen. Feinstein: “Legal To Hunt Humans”
From The Blaze:
“The time has come, America, to step up and ban these weapons. The other very important part of this bill is to ban large capacity ammunition feeding devices, those that hold more than 10 rounds. We have federal regulations and state laws that prohibit hunting ducks with more than three rounds. And yet it’s legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines. Limiting magazine capacity is critical because it is when a criminal, a drug dealer, a deranged individual has to pause to change magazines and reload that the police or brave bystanders have the opportunity to take that individual down.â€
Gun Sales Surging in Nevada Due to Californians
From Guns.com:
“There’s no law that tells me I can’t sell to someone from California,†said a Nevada resident who declined to give his name. “It’s not on me if they drive over to the communist side with this thing. It’s on them.â€
