Senior Leader of Al Qaeda Group Captured in Afghanistan — Dressed as Woman

KABUL, Afghanistan — A senior leader of an Al Qaeda-linked terror group has been captured in northern Afghanistan dressed up like a woman — the latest in a recent series of cases involving male militants disguised as females, the U.S.-led military coalition said Tuesday.
A joint Afghan and coalition force apprehended a senior figure from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan and two of his associates during a nighttime operation Monday in Kunduz city, NATO said.
It said the militant, who also supported the Taliban network, had planned attacks against the Afghan National Police, as well as various suicide bombings and assaults against other Afghan security forces.
The coalition said there also have been a handful of recent reports of female combatants in burqas.

“Suicide attackers stormed a popular Western-style hotel in Afghanistan on Tuesday, setting off explosions and exchanging gunfire with Afghan authorities for hours until NATO helicopters took out three of the remaining gunmen.
Guests at the Inter-Continental hotel in Kabul hid in their rooms during the attack, which killed 10 Afghan civilians — mostly hotel workers — and wounded 8, according to Afghan officials. The six suicide bombers and four gunmen involved in the raid were killed.”

“The attacks on the Americans in Maysan Province, near the Iranian border, and elsewhere in southern Iraq provide one of the starkest examples of what officials call a reinvigorated threat posed by Shiite militants and followers of the anti-American Shiite cleric Moktada al-Sadr during the American military’s waning days here.
These Shiite militias have emerged as perhaps the greatest threat to the 46,000 United States troops still in Iraq, military officials say. And a barrage of recent attacks — some of them deadly — has raised questions about the safety of Americans as the military withdraws troops and equipment in the months ahead.
“There are plenty of groups who will be paid to kill the last Americans on their way out,†said Col. Douglas Crissman, the military commander who oversees Maysan and three other southern provinces.”

Iran Attempting to Acquire Helicopters With Nuke Capability

“The arrest on Thursday of five Spanish businessmen and three Iranians allegedly planning to smuggle into Iran military helicopters formerly owned by Israel sparks concerns over the possible use of nuclear-armed cruise missiles by Tehran’s Islamist regime.
Five years ago, Iran successfully test-fired in the Persian Gulf its “Noor” long-range cruise missile, based on China’s C-802 anti-ship cruise design. The launch platform utilized in the April 2006 test was believed to be a Russian Mil-17 helicopter.
The Noor has a range of 200 kilometers, reportedly with no need of an over-the-horizon targeting system. Its velocity is twice the speed of sound, it travels just a few yards above water, and it is close to undetectable by radar. The Noor’s single-shot kill probability has been estimated at nearly 98 percent.”

I am not sure when this speech was given but it was uploaded in Sept. 2009. Allen West is the only person I have seen who speaks plainly about the enemy we face. I value his opinion over any politician’s since he has been to both Iraq and Afghanistan and fought the enemy.

Saudi with student visa in West Texas Arrested For “Attempted Use of Weapon of Mass Destruction”

“Moments ago, the Department of Justice announced that an investigation by the FBI’s Dallas Joint Terrorism Task Force has led to the arrest of 20-year-old Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari, who was born in Saudi Arabia but came to the United States in 2008 on a student visa so he could attend South Plains College in Levelland, just outside Lubbock.
The feds allege that Aldawsari attempted to buy chemicals needed to make an improvised explosive device, posted repeatedly to blogs promising to help defeat “the infidels” and kept a list of “potential U.S. targets.” Says the Department of Justice:
On Feb. 6, 2011, the affidavit alleges, Aldawsari sent himself an e-mail titled “Tyrant’s House,” in which he listed the Dallas address for former President George W. Bush. The affidavit also alleges that Aldawsari conducted research that could indicate his consideration of the use of infant dolls to conceal explosives and possible targeting of a nightclub with an explosive concealed in a backpack.”
Russian airport bomber visited home on eve of attack

MOSCOW – The suicide bomber who killed 36 people at a Moscow airport visited his home village shortly before the attack and may have collected the bomb there, a report said on Thursday, citing investigators.
The bomber briefly returned to his home village on Jan 19, five days before blowing himself up in Domodedovo airport’s arrivals hall, the Kommersant business daily reported, citing investigators.
Officials have named the bomber as 20-year-old Magomed Yevloyev from the North Caucasus region of Ingushetia and announced they had also arrested his brother and sister on suspicion of helping him plot the suicide strike.

“Qari Hussain Mehsud, a top Taliban leader in Pakistan and deputy chief of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban has been killed by a US drone attack.
The drones hit a militant compound in Jungle Khel area near Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan Agency, killing four militants including Qari Hussain on October 7.
Qari Hussain Mehsud, specialty was training suicide bombers to conduct missions mainly in Pakistan.”
Sangin, Afghanistan: Taliban stronghold, “Afghanistan’s Fallujah”

“I’d tell anyone now don’t come here because I’d never want to come here again,” one soldier told me this summer at a Sangin patrol base hemmed in by all sides by insurgents.
“This place is different to anywhere else; really it’s a Taliban stronghold,” he added.
The town is likely to remain a Taliban redoubt because it always has been and there is little desire, or resources, to tackle Sangin’s problems. The centre for the narcotics trade and a hub for warring tribes the complexities of Sangin’s problems are deep.
But the town is also the testing ground for the Taliban where an average of 400 external fighters come each year to “earn their stripes” and the fighting is of an intensity not found anywhere else in Helmand. On average there are 15 small arms fire contacts a day and 15 IEDs found a week.
No wonder then that troops nicknamed Sangin the “bastard child of Helmand” or “Afghanistan’s Fallujah”.
The rise of “xenophobia†in France?

When a nations becomes convinced that a group has become a security threat, is it within their right as a nation to say, “You are no longer welcome here, we require you to go back to your home country”?
How is that “xenophobia”? A phobia, by definition, is irrational, not grounded in reason. What if there are genuine reasons for concern? What if illegal immigrants are creating a very real negative impact on a country? Why should a country not be able to make a decision on behalf of its citizens to not allow illegal immigrants?
A nation expects its citizens to respect and abide by its laws. Why should an outside group be allowed to ignore, disregard and trample on those laws – and still expect the host nation to provide for them?
Why is it that some people seem to think that the moral obligation of a country to provide care for illegal immigrants who have broken the law somehow trumps or is more important than the moral obligation of a country to look out for and protect the interests of its citizens?
What business does the UN have inserting itself into that process?
This story, regarding France deporting the Roma, or Gypsies:
A UN Watchdog Group is urging France to stop the collective deportation of Roma, also known as Gypsies. The UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination calls collective expulsions a violation under international law. The Committee monitors States’ implementation of the 1969 International Convention on the elimination of all Forms of Racial Discrimination.
“We understand that a State has a right and a responsibility to deal with security issues and issues of immigration and illegal immigration,” said Prosper. “But, our view is when you are doing so, as we said, it should not be on a collective basis. It should not be targeting a group as a whole. Individual assessments need to be conducted and look at each particular circumstance of each individual and decide does he or she merit a return or should be allowed to stay.”
Prosper says the concerns of a state have to be balanced against human rights obligations, and protection and asylum needs.
France recently sent hundreds of Roma back to Romania and Bulgaria and dismantled more than 100 illegal camps. The French government justifies its expulsion of the Roma on grounds of security.”
First of all, why on earth is a person-by-person basis of deportation necessary if an entire group has flaunted a nation’s immigration laws and has become a drain on the nation’s resources?
Question: if the UN is so deeply concerned about “the elimination of all Forms of Racial Discrimination” why does it not speak out against the clear, blatant racial discrimination practiced – and taught – by Islam? Where are the calls for a dramatic change within Islam and it’s views of people who are not Muslim?
Where are the accusations of “xenophobia” for not only the practices of Islam, but what it teaches?
Selective tolerance is not tolerance. Unilateral tolerance is not tolerance. If Islam wishes to be shown more tolerance it must take the first step by showing tolerance itself – true tolerance and acceptance, not treating non-Muslims as second-class citizens or worse (dhimmis) and calling that tolerance.
We have been waiting over 600 years to see that. Still waiting.
But who am I? Let’s hear from someone who was born and raised in Islam: Salman Rushide.
He says, “One of the things that Liberal opinion in the West sometimes, I think, doesn’t understand is that there actually is an enemy. There actually is an enemy that means us harm, and is not just going to go away if you are nice to them. You don’t have to be a right-winger to believe this.”
I’m sure he’s just being xenophobic and racist and that the death threat that’s been hanging over him for years is mostly imagined.
Chicago Six Flags sponsoring “Muslim Family Day†– the day after 9/11

MUSLIM DAY AT SIX FLAGS is being sponsored by the Islamic Circle of North America which openly supports HAMAS and Hezbollah and refuses to condemn them. It has been under investigation for fund-raising for and money laundering to Islamic terrorist groups.
Six Flags tells its employees: “Out of respect (to Islam), we request the employees wear their uniform pants, instead of their shortsâ€no matter how hot it is.
Better get used to it: your lives are going to change more and more as we are pushed into showing “respect” for Islam. Muslims in the Netherlands pressured cities to force construction workers to stop wearing shorts, too, because it “offended” them.
Well, it offends me that they would have the gall to put on a special Muslim celebration the day after 9/11. They are not shy about voicing their outrage over the slightest perceived insult, why should we sit quietly and let them insult the memory of those murdered by Islamic Purists?
