A Primer On Body Armor
From Ammoland:
Body armor had become as essential as food and water. It wasn’t just for the military or law enforcement anymore. Civilians like John had recognized its importance, especially after the Boston Marathon bombing, the Las Vegas shooting, and the countless other incidents that had shaken the nation to its core.
NYC Councilwoman Arrested For Carrying Gun At Protest
From The Truth About Guns:
Republican Brooklyn Councilwoman Inna Vernikov was arrested Thursday when she was spotted toting a firearm at a rally to support Palestine — resulting in calls for her to be removed from office.
Israel and Ukraine Prove The Necessity Of Armed Citizens
From Times of Israel:
Gun control in Israel is relatively strict, and firearm licenses are generally only granted to those who can show a need for extra security in their line of work or daily life. Meaning, one of the key criteria for a private citizen to receive permission to own a gun is where they live.
That could now change, says Rabbi Raz Blizovsky, 32, of Katzrin, an activist who has been part of grassroots discussions around personal arms.
“People are changing their opinion, and now there is more awareness,” he told The Times of Israel. It doesn’t make sense, he said, that someone in Tel Aviv cannot get a pistol, but someone in the Golan can. “There are terror attacks in both places,” he stressed.
A Citizen’s Duty Is To Be Vigilant and Prepared
From Ammoland:
The MOSSAD, the Israeli Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations (aka ISIS.. weird, right?), warned New York, Michigan, and Florida to prepare for coming terrorist violence.
“We again ask for Jews around the world to be careful. This warning extends to western nations: England, Canada (Toronto), Germany, France, USA (NY. MI. FL.)” the intelligence organization wrote in a tweet. “Keep your cellphone handy and your eyes open.”
NM Governor Continues Her Tyrannical Assault On Bill of Rights
From Bearing Arms:
In defiance of the law and the Constitution, Grisham recently revised her public health order prohibiting firearms in parks, playgrounds and other public places where children go in Albuquerque. The governor also added a provision that tasks the state Department of Public Safety with organizing safe surrender events — also known as gun buybacks — in Albuquerque, Española and Las Cruces within a month. According to Maddy Hayden, a spokeswoman for the governor, the renewed order will remain in effect until Nov. 3.
As an additional slap in the face to New Mexicans, Grisham said, “We’re not letting up, and I’m continuing to make investments that drive down violence in our communities and protect our children.”
Armed Self Defense Is A Human Right
From Bearing Arms:
The terror attacks in Israel are going to be flooding, and really already have, the pages of Bearing Arms, as well as every other news outlet in the U.S. Ignoring foreign policy, ignoring the who, what, where, when, HOW, and why…there’s one singular thing that all of this should be teaching the people of the Union – and world at large; the Second Amendment is important.
Israeli Attacks Show Why All Citizens Should Be Armed
From The Federalist:
After the horrific terrorist attack by Hamas from Gaza, Israel’s government suddenly made it slightly easier for its citizens to own firearms for self-defense.
Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir announced Sunday in Hebrew an emergency declaration that will “allow as many citizens as possible to arm themselves.” Currently, a mere 1.5 percent of the civilian population has a license to own a gun.
Gun Ownership Means Nothing Without The Right To Self Defense
From Highly Respected:
Gun ownership still needs to be protected. The right to bear arms is critical to the right to self-defense. However, the expansion of gun rights comes at the same time that the right to self-defense is being infringed. The Kyle Rittenhouse, Daniel Perry, Jake Gardner, Ian Cranston, and Daniel Penny cases show this fundamental right is in jeopardy.
Proposals For Gun Friendly States
From Bearing Arms:
1) Repeal all carry permit fees
The right to keep and bear arms is a right. Creating permits around it is an infringement. Just yesterday, I wrote about how poor people are burdened with fees in Michigan and New York. Permitless carry is the way forward as the majority of states have done already. However, permitless carry states are still issuing permits partly to help their citizens traveling to other states. Those states need to zero out any and all fees for concealed carry permits, period.
Robbers Killed By Armed Customers
From Fox8Live:
Lee, Henderson and another male were armed when they entered the business in the 1900 block of Centenary Boulevard about 4:55 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 12). At one point during the holdup, two of the three robbers jumped the counter and took a handgun and other items from the store clerk.
While this was going on, the two customers escaped the business and went to their vehicle, described as a blue Chevrolet 1500 extended cab pickup. There, they armed themselves then engaged the robbery suspects as the three left the business.
Russian Newspaper Explains Why Governments Fear Armed Citizens
From Ammoland:
“Events of 24 June will undoubtedly have long-term consequences for the country. On that day, it became clear that a man with a gun, if he is not a state official, is a real threat to the state and statehood”
Anti-Gunners Target SAFE Banking Act
From Bearing Arms:
The SAFE Banking Act seeks to address the issue by allowing marijuana businesses to participate in the financial industry like any other lawful business. Customers would thus be able to transact with marijuana businesses using credit cards and electronic payments, taking cash out of the equation and making transactions safer for both the businesses and their customers. This would result in fewer incidents of “gun violence,” which our friends in the gun control organizations purportedly care about.
