Juarez Graffiti Message to U.S. law enforcement Warns of Another Car Bomb

“A graffiti message found Sunday night in Juárez warned U.S. law enforcement that another car bombing will occur if they do not arrest corrupt federal police agents.
The unsigned message told the FBI and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to investigate authorities that support the Sinaloa drug cartel.
Otherwise, there will be another car bomb placed in Juárez to kill federal police, the threat stated.
“If in 15 days, there is no response with detention of corrupt federales, we will put a car with 100 kilos of C4,” the message read.”

“More bloody gunbattles erupted in Nuevo Laredo on Wednesday night, leaving several people dead and an unknown number injured as armed gunmen fought each other through the streets near the center of the city, on Colosio Boulevard in the Parque Viveros area, on Guerrero, on Reforma and other parts of the city.
“I saw a dead body hanging out of a car,†near the restored historic train station downtown, said one witness who asked not to be identified.

David Jayquon Jakes of Smoaks, armed robbery suspect
“…At that time, a silver-colored sedan pulled up occupied by three individuals and a male subject, later identified as David Jayquon Jakes, 19, exited the back seat and pointed a large caliber handgun at one of the women.
The victims said Jakes was covering his face with a cloth of some type and started ordering her as he referred to her as “pretty lady.” At that time, the woman’s son-in-law stood up from behind his vehicle and she ran to her daughter as they took cover.
Her son-in-law was armed and drew his weapon and ordered them to leave several times. As Jakes turned and pointed his large caliber weapon, the son-in-law fired several rounds striking Jakes who then fell to the ground and dropped his weapon.
The two subjects in the suspect vehicle helped the wounded Jakes back into their vehicle and fired several rounds back at the victim and then drove away.
A short time later, the Colleton Regional Hospital staff notified the Sheriff’s Office that they just had an individual come in to their emergency room with several gun shot wounds.”

Fanning the Flames of Jihad

On July 11, 2010, al-Malahim Media, the media arm of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), published the first edition of its new English-language online magazine “Inspire.†The group had tried to release the magazine in late June, but for some reason — whether a technical glitch, virus (as rumored on some of the jihadist message boards) or cyberattack — most of the initial file released was unreadable.
The magazine was produced by someone who has a moderate amount of technological savvy, who speaks English well and who uses a lot of American idioms and phraseology. We did not note any hint of British or South Asian influence in the writing. A government source has suggested to us (and we have seen the claim repeated in the media) that Inspire was produced by a U.S citizen who was born in Saudi Arabia named Samir Khan. Khan is a well-known cyber-jihadist — indeed, The New York Times did an excellent story on Khan in October 2007. Given Khan’s background, history of publishing English-language jihadist material and the fact that he reportedly left the United States for Yemen in 2009 and has not returned, it does seem plausible that he is the driving force behind Inspire.

“I always ALWAYS carry a knife. I have a few that I mix it up with. A nice 4 inch Gerber, a small Swiss army, a jack knife I got from my grandfather.
My reason is a little sad so be forewarned. When I was young (8-10) My brother and I were friends with these kids across town named Rob and Tom. We were over at their house or them at ours at least 5 nights a week. One night we were building a bridge out of sticks and boards across some water in a shallow ditch after a big rainstorm. It couldn’t have been more than half a meter deep. We hear brakes squeal and see a car flip into the ditch a ways down the road.
We ran over to see what happened and recognized the car. It was Rob and Toms father. He hit a puddle going a little to fast and lost control. This was not an abandoned road so 2 other cars had stopped to help by the time we bolted down to the crash.
The car was upside down in the water and we could see him struggling with his seat belt. Everyone tried to get him loose but the belt was twisted and no one had a knife on them. We tried to fray it with keys and burn it with a lighter but to no avail. I watched with my brother, my best friends and 3 adults as said best friends’ father drowned in front of them in half a meter of water because no one had a knife to cut him loose.”

A soldier’s Perspective: Disappointed In SCOTUS

“While the Supreme Court upheld the Second Amendment in striking down the ban on handguns in Chicago, it would be an understatement to say that I’m disappointed at the narrow margin in which it was done.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
I think it really goes to show that the Supreme Court has become more a political entity, upholding partisan beliefs and placing them before the language of the Constitution. This goes for both sides. Effectively, the four justices that ruled in the minority believe that the Second Amendment should just be abolished.”
Massachusetts School Bans Pledge of Allegiance

There’s something seriously wrong with the system of education in this country where flags are frowned upon and the Pledge of Allegiance is flat out banned! If you can’t pledge allegiance to your country (not the politicians), what are you doing here?
A school in Massachusetts (go figure), has banned the Pledge of Allegiance in the classroom. And until Senior Sean Harrington complained, the classes didn’t even have flags in them. He fought hard to get flags in the classroom and the Pledge of Allegiance reinstated. He won on the flags, but the pledge was forbidden.
The principal responsible for this travesty is Charles Skidmore, principal of Arlington High School in Arlington, Mass.
Ironically, the Pledge of Allegiance started as a public school celebration. It was introduced in 1892 and has been changed four times since its inception. And yet, these days we find educators increasing unwilling to ask students to be loyal to their own country. One of the most heartbreaking parts of a FoxNews article on the subject said this:
The Arlington, Mass., school committee has rejected the 17-year-old’s request to allow students to voluntarily recite the Pledge of Allegiance, because some educators are concerned that it would be hard to find teachers willing to recite it, according to a report in the Arlington Patch.
Laser used to shoot down drones

“Laser beams have been used for the first time in naval warfare to shoot down aircraft, it can be disclosed.
The weapon, mounted on a warship’s missile, shot down four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in secret testing carried out off the California coast.
For the first time a ‘solid state’ 32 mega watt laser beam of directed energy has been fired from a warship to a distance of more than two miles burning into a drone travelling at about 300mph.”
Marines Need Dedicated Medivac Birds

…more than six decades after Iwo Jima, consider the fact that Marines still do not have a dedicated medevac helicopter—a nicety of war that is all about saving limbs and lives and that Soldiers have had for many years.
It is time to change medevac doctrine for the U.S. Marine Corps-Navy team. The doctrine is an anachronism that serves no one very well, least of all the Marines who fight on the front lines and display such incredible valor.
Baghdad: Suicide bomber kills least 45 US-backed militia

“More than 40 members of the Sons of Iraq militia were killed today when a suicide bomber blew himself up as the US-backed former insurgents waited to receive their salaries.
The attack, the worst in Baghdad in two months, took place at 8am local time at a base in Radwaniya in the south-west of the capital, leaving 45 dead and dozens injured, among them Iraqi soldiers.
The death toll was sharply higher than in previous strikes against the Sons of Iraq, also known as the Awakening Council, but the attack fits a lethal pattern of targeted killings that have been occurring almost daily in Iraq for the past three months.”
