Turkey’s Failed Coup Means More Islamization

Friday night’s failed coup was Turkey’s last hope to stop the Islamization of its government and the degradation of its society. Reflexively, Western leaders rushed to condemn a coup attempt they refused to understand. Their reward will be a toxic Islamist regime at the gates of Europe.
That tragically failed coup was a forlorn hope, not an attempt to take over a country. Turkey is not a banana republic in which the military grasps the reins for its own profit. For almost a century, the Turkish armed forces have been the guardians of the country’s secular constitution. Most recently, coups in 1960, 1971 and 1980 (with “non-coup†pressure in 1997) saw the military intervene to prevent the country’s collapse.

Anti-Gun Legislator Arrested With Gun

Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed had a gun in her possession at the time she was arrested late on Monday outside the Ferguson Police Department, according to Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson.
Nasheed refused to comment about having the weapon ( a gun ), but did tell News 4 she has a concealed carry permit. A Ferguson police officer told us than in fact Nasheed was carrying a fully-loaded 9 mm handgun and additional rounds.

I see absolutely no value to a judge of spending decades, years, months, weeks, day, hours, minutes, or seconds studying the Constitution, the history of its enactment, its amendments, and its implementation (across the centuries—well, just a little more than two centuries, and of course less for many of the amendments). Eighteenth-century guys, however smart, could not foresee the culture, technology, etc., of the 21stcentury. Which means that the original Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the post–Civil War amendments (including the 14th), do not speak to today.

Bill To Require Businesses To Pay Damages If Shooting Occurs
