Feds Using Military Strategies To Target Americans

From The Epoch Times:

“This is how the military in Iraq organized for urban warfare to go in and clear houses,” she said. “This isn’t much different. I know what a setup looks like.”

Before the engagement even takes place, the FBI creates a “baseball card” on the suspects, which is a dossier developed for targeting terrorists.

“This is for kill or capture missions, so I want that to set in for a minute,” Stewart said. “The whole concept of a baseball card for overseas terrorism was based on creating a targeting package to go on kill or capture missions. This has now been transported back into the United States to go after American citizens.”

EFF’s Guide To Protest Security

From The Electronic Frontier Foundation:

Now, more than ever, citizens must be able to hold those in power accountable and inspire others through the act of protest.

Protecting your electronic devices and digital assets before, during, and after a protest is vital to keeping yourself and your information safe, as well as getting your message out. Theft, damage, confiscation, or forced deletion of media can disrupt your ability to publish your experiences. At the same time, those engaging in protest may be subject to search or arrest, or have their movements and associations mapped. They could become targets of surveillance and repression.

The allegation was made in a motion seeking to dismiss seditious conspiracy and obstruction charges against 10 Oath Keepers defendants in one of the most prominent Jan. 6 criminal cases.

The Western War On Dissent

From Glenn Greenwald:

But when these weapons are wielded by Western governments, the precise opposite framework is imposed: describing them as despotic is no longer obligatory but virtually prohibited. That tyranny exists only in Western adversaries but never in the West itself is treated as a permanent axiom of international affairs, as if Western democracies are divinely shielded from the temptations of genuine repression. Indeed, to suggest that a Western democracy has descended to the same level of authoritarian repression as the West’s official enemies is to assert a proposition deemed intrinsically absurd or even vaguely treasonous.

ACLU Doesn’t Support All Civil Rights

From The Truth About Guns:

“Many of the [gun control] options now being considered raise no civil liberties concerns. That includes bans on assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, and bump stocks. Raising the minimum age for all gun ownership to 21, currently the legal age for purchasing a handgun, also raises no civil liberties issues, as research on brain development shows that young people’s impulse control differs from that of adults,” the group states.

Passing A Law Doesn’t Mean People Will Obey

From Reason:

Media outlets love reporting the results of polling on hot-button policy issues, but they rarely tell you if the people supporting proposed legislation (especially when it’s restrictive) are the same people who would be affected by it. That matters in several important ways, not least of which is that getting a law passed is not the same thing as getting people to obey. Nowhere does that matter more than in the heated debate over gun laws.

The Political Prisoners of the Biden Administration

From American Gulag:

Jan. 6 protester John Steven Anderson died last week while waiting trial on trumped-up charges by the Biden DOJ against him for protesting at the US Capitol in January.

John Anderson was accused by the government of assaulting police after he was sprayed with pepper spray, couldn’t breathe, and actually asked the police for assistance who then helped him to safety. He was surrounded by police the entire time and yet was later charged with assaulting police. It was all made up.

Anderson died last week awaiting trial.

Politicians Are Lying About The Threat Of Domestic Terrorism

From Glenn Greenwald:

This is how apocalyptic cult leaders always function. When the end of the world did not materialize on January 6, Collins insisted that January 20 was the day of the violent reckoning. When nothing happened on that day, he moved the Doomsday Date to March 4. The flock cannot remain in a state of confusion for too long about why the world has not ended as promised by the prophet, so a new date must quickly be provided with an explanation for why this is serious business this time.

Virginia Declares Itself First Amendment Sanctuary

From Zero Hedge:

The County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the measure last week in response to Northam’s pre-Thanksgiving limits on public gatherings to 25 people or fewer, as well as an extension on the state’s mask mandate to include children over the age of five. Restaurants are also prohibited from selling alcohol after 10 p.m.

Campbell County’s resolution requests that the sheriff’s department refuse to assist any official – state or federal – in “attempting to enforce the unconstitutional order of the Governor.”

Media Claims Protests Are “Fake”

From Kansas City Star:

The Lansing protest was organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition and Michigan Freedom Fund, which has links to the family of Education Secretary Besty DeVos. Common Cause and other liberal groups say Meckler and Citizens for Self-Governance have long been aligned with conservative groups tied to Charles and the late David Koch, but Meckler laughs at the notion his group receives Koch money.

“If you know anybody with the Kochs and can arrange for financing, I’d be happy to talk, but it never happens,” he said.
