Hunters Donate Game Meat
From Guns.com:
Since 1991, a venison donation program that enlists hunters to share their extra harvest with food banks across the Keystone State has fed thousands.
Women Flocking To Hunting
From KTVA:
Women have become the fastest-growing hunting demographic in the U.S., and according to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, it’s a trend that extends to the 49th state, too.
The department says increased interest led to new women-only hunter education classes.
“We’ve found over the years that women sometimes like a more safe environment where they can ask questions,” Ginamaria Smith, the program coordinator for the department’s hunter information and training program. “They don’t have to feel like they might be asking what they would term ‘stupid questions,’ even though they’re not.”
Delaware Bans Semi-Autos For Hunting
From Gun Dynamics:
the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control last week poured cold water on that idea by announcing that only manually-operated rifles may be used such as lever-action, bolt-action, pump-action, single shot and revolver rifles.
This is an admission that semi-auto rifles were being used to hunt, when they said they weren’t. It appears the goal now is to ban them from hunting and then use that as an excuse the ban them everywhere.
Many Hunters Don’t Support The NRA
From Bearing Arms:
…gun control laws are inevitable, and ultimately are something that even the staunchest 2A supporters ultimately agree on at some level. It’s probably not a good idea to keep a bucket of hand grenades in the trunk of your car, for instance. And even Ted Nugent doesn’t want anyone but security carrying inside one of his concerts. Discussing ways in which we can work to make all of us safer (call it working towards a more perfect union) is something that the people who are invested in the gun industry, and who actually know a thing or two about guns, should be involved in.
Ignorant Congressman Doesn’t Understand Guns, Bullets or the Purpose of the Second Amendment
Posted by Brian in Law, News, Threat Watch on 30/Mar/2015 12:00
From The Journal News:
The only people who should have access to these bullets are law enforcement and the military. There is no conceivable reason for anybody else to need access to a handgun round that can pierce body armor. It is our responsibility to do whatever we can to keep law enforcement safe – to protect them while they protect us. And when the gun industry fights to keep ammunition like this on the street, we must stand up.
Hunters and law-abiding gun owners have no need for a compact, semi-automatic firearm with ammunition that punches through body armor. Deer don’t wear Kevlar. Yet over and over again, we hear the gun industry lobby arguing to ensure that civilians have access to cop-killing bullets.
Hunting From Horseback
Beretta explains how to prepare for a horseback hunt.
There are multiple advantages to horseback hunting. You can cover ground more quickly than a hiker. You can carry more gear than with a backpack. You can get further into the high country, aka “the good spots†than someone who is day hiking. The horses will be able to pack out a thousand-pound elk without you straining a muscle.
Hornandy Full Boar Ammo
With the increasing proliferation of wild hogs in the U.S. and the need to control their populations comes a new line of ammunition from Hornandy.

Number of Women Hunters Increasing
From National Geographic:
The total number of women hunters surged by 25 percent between 2006 and 2011, after holding steady for a decade, according to Census Bureau statistics. At last count, 11 percent of all U.S. hunters were women, compared to 9 percent in 2006.
Canadians Flock To Gun Courses
The Canadian gun registry is no more and now Canucks are rushing to take safety classes and purchase guns.
From CBC:
Peter Palmer, the co-ordinator of hunter education courses for the Department of Natural Resources, says enrollment in courses increased 23 per cent after the long gun registry was abolished last year.

This guy takes out many boar on the run with a bolt gun.
