Budget Carry Gun: SCCY DVG-1

From The Truth About Guns:

The result is the DVG-1, a pistol with impressive handling and firing characteristics for the price. I have tried quite a few of the SCCY pistols over the years and have seen them in classes I’ve taught. They’re known for being feed- and function-reliable. Some of the early models with a manual safety had a habit of moving to the safe position during a firing string, but that problem has long since been resolved.

Savage Introduces Micro Compact Pistol

From Guns.com:

The guns, polymer-framed striker-fired micro-compacts intended for carry and self-defense, use a serialized chassis that allows it to easily swap across a range of various grip frames with black, gray, and FDE modules available at launch, all with interchangeable backstraps to adjust grip size. The Stance has a 3.2-inch stainless-steel barrel, making it just slightly shorter than the Glock 43 and more akin in size to the FN 503 and Sig P365 in that metric. The new Savage pistols have 7, 8, and 10-round magazine options.

Alabama Gun Bills Setup Conflict With Feds

From Bearing Arms:

Senate Bill 2 and House Bill 7 would both create the Alabama Second Amendment Preservation Act. This act would prohibit state law enforcement from enforcing any federal law, or other legislation, regarding the regulation of firearms, firearm accessories or ammo.

The bills would also set up penalties for whatever agency violates the proposed bill. The penalty for a first offense is a class C misdemeanor with a fine no less than $500 or more than $5,000. For all other offenses, it is a class B misdemeanor with a fine no less than $1,000 or more than $7,000.

Bill To Abolish The ATF

From Ammoland:

HR 3960 effectively scatters the functions of BATFE across the entire Department of Justice. We could very well see some provisions kicked over to the FBI. Others could go to the United States Marshalls. It would likely be harder to keep track of every function. It could very well depend on who the attorney general is. For a hack like Merrick Garland, it is a huge chance for mischief, to put it mildly.

FBI Won’t Acknowledge Stingray Surveillance Tech

From MSN:

Lawyers for the American Civil Liberties Union are fighting to uncover more about the FBI’s role in helping local police acquire powerful cellphone surveillance devices known widely as “stingrays.” The true scope of their use against Americans has, by design, remained a closely guarded secret for more than a decade. This is thanks to secrecy requirements devised by the federal government, which police departments and prosecutors have followed to an extreme.

Anti-Trump FBI Agent Was Part of Michigan False Flag

From Wood TV:

One of the lead FBI agents on the federal kidnapping case involving Michigan’s governor didn’t just betray the badge off-duty, he also showed questionable judgment online by posting an obscenity-laden, anti-Trump tirade.

“If you still support our piece of s–t president you can f–k off,” began the 2020 post on Richard Trask’s personal Facebook page.

As Trask, 40, prepares to enter a plea Monday on charges he beat and choked his wife at their Kalamazoo County home, Target 8 investigators are revealing the contents of a vitriolic, Trump-bashing post on Trask’s personal Facebook page.

Generals Afraid The Wrong Person Might Win The Next Election

From The Washington Post:

In short: We are chilled to our bones at the thought of a coup succeeding next time.

The potential for a total breakdown of the chain of command along partisan lines — from the top of the chain to squad level — is significant should another insurrection occur. The idea of rogue units organizing among themselves to support the “rightful” commander in chief cannot be dismissed.

All service members take an oath to protect the U.S. Constitution. But in a contested election, with loyalties split, some might follow orders from the rightful commander in chief, while others might follow the Trumpian loser. Arms might not be secured depending on who was overseeing them. Under such a scenario, it is not outlandish to say a military breakdown could lead to civil war.

If You Want To Stop Gun Deaths Start With Suicides

From The Hill:

Firearm suicides make up 60 percent of all gun deaths in America annually, and about half of all suicides in recent years are by firearm, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Close to 90 percent of suicide attempts by firearm are fatal, and every 11 minutes, someone dies by suicide in this country. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death among Americans. Given the severity of the issue and the 20-year trend of increasing suicide rates in America, there is no time to waste addressing this national epidemic

The Rich Are Arming Themselves

From The New York Post:

“I’ve always been anti-gun,” said Debbie Mizrahie of Beverly Hills. “But I am right now in the process of getting myself shooting lessons because I now understand that there may be a need for me to know how to defend myself and my family. We’re living in fear.”

As Gun Rights Expand, Anti-Gun Death Throes Increase

From The Truth About Guns:

Thankfully, a growing number of Americans has stopped listening to the anti-gun forces. In other words, regardless of what Biden, Murphy, or Giffords are saying, the liberal bubble has been pierced by the truth, and worried folks are buying guns.

Censoring The Second Amendment

From America’s First Freedom:

Biden’s Surgeon General Vivek Murthy did recently issue an advisory calling for a “whole-of-society” effort to combat the “urgent threat to public health” posed by “health misinformation.” He was referring to COVID-19, but this same administration is
also fond of claiming that guns are a “public-health crisis.” Also, many anti-Second Amendment politicians closed gun stores during the beginning of the pandemic. Could they then work with Big Tech to further censor pro-Second Amendment content as part of “public-health” policy?

“We don’t take anything down. We don’t block anything,” said Psaki when Fox News’ White House correspondent Peter Doocy pushed for answers. Rather, she said, the administration is merely “flagging problematic posts” and suggesting “additional steps” that Facebook and other social-media companies should take.

Restitution Should Be A Remedy For Unconstitutional Prosecutions

From The Truth About Guns:

An individual should not be punished for noncompliance with an unconstitutional law. If they were unjustly punished, then they deserve restitution. So far, only a few people have applied for restitution in DC. There is a larger class action lawsuit that needs to be filed against the district.
