Krav Maga Intro

Via The Art of Manliness:

The primary goal in Krav Maga is to neutralize your threat as quickly as possible. This overarching goal governs all the other principles of Krav Maga. Because your aim is to dominate and incapacitate your attacker as soon as possible, pretty much anything goes in Krav Maga. You can’t worry about fighting etiquette when your life is on the line. You do whatever you have to do to preserve your life.

First Drone Carrier Landing

From Military Times:

If all goes as planned, a successful landing of the X-47B experimental aircraft will mean the Navy can move forward with its plans to develop another unmanned aircraft that will join the fleet alongside traditional airplanes to provide around-the-clock surveillance while also possessing a strike capability. The aircraft’s success would pave the way for the U.S. to launch unmanned aircraft without the need to obtain permission from other countries to use their bases.

Spec Ops Medics vs. PETA

SOFREP has a good article about the necessity of live tissue training for medics. They use goats which PETA objects to:

Today, groups like PETA are engaging in political activism to try to shut down LTT in the SOCM school house at Ft. Bragg. This can’t happen. It will literally kill our soldiers. Groups like PETA have convinced certain politicians that the same quality training can be done on mannequins or medical training dummies. This simply is not true. There is nothing more realistic than living flesh and blood.
