Carrying In A National Park Is Still Confusing
From The Truth About Guns:
Sadly, visitors still face a bit of a minefield. While you can lawfully carry in a national park according to the laws of the state the park is in, “federal facilities” within the parks are still off limits. This basically means any building in which NPS personnel work, so the visitor center, many bathrooms and showers, and even some hotels are off limits. Worse, the National Park Service has stretched the reasonable definition of “building” to include natural structures like the caves at Carlsbad Caverns.
The Answer To Terrorism Is More Armed Citizens
From Ammoland:
Wray’s warning, however, was dire. He told the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence that known or suspected terrorists were infiltrating the country across the wide-open southern border using counterfeit documents. One of the smuggling networks, he said, has ties to ISIS. Add to this the thousands of unknown border crossers from countries that hate us and the more than 80,000 military-age males from China, and you have a terrorist hellbroth just waiting to bubble over.
We should thank Director Wray for his timely information and for his candor. This is precisely why we have fought so long and so hard to restore our Second Amendment rights so that law-abiding Americans no longer have to bend a knee and beg the Crown to sell them back their constitutional rights in the form of a permit to carry defensive arms. Constitutional carry levels the playing field, making it easier for the good guys and gals to lawfully carry arms.

New Striker Pistol From Texas Company
From Guns.com:
Billed as “The Next Generation of Freedom,” a new firearms company plans to release a handgun that they believe will break out of the rut of vanilla striker-fired polymer-framed 9mm pistols.
Based in Dallas, Texas, gunmaker Rost Martin has announced as its flagship product the new RM1C pistol. A compact-sized double-stack 9mm, it sports a 4-inch hammer-forged barrel, 7.1-inch overall length, and a 21.1-ounce unloaded weight with a 15+1 round magazine. This puts it a hair smaller than the Glock 19 Gen 5.
California LEOs Refuse To Enforce New Laws
From Bearing Arms:
The first cracks in the wall that Gavin Newsom and his fellow Democrats have erected around the right to carry appeared on Wednesday afternoon, when Sutter County Sheriff Brandon Barnes and Sutter County District Attorney Jennifer R. Dupré released a joint statement that encouraged “citizens to obey the law” while vowing to use their discretionary power to not criminalize “constitutionally protected behavior”.

“California’s Department of Justice had been permitted to share ‘identifying information of more than 4 million gun owners’ collected by the state during the background check process for firearms purchases with ‘qualified research institutions,’ ostensibly to aid in the study of gun-related accidents, suicides and violence.”
The “personal information” includes “names, addresses, phone numbers, and any criminal records, among other things.” What “other things”?
Man With No Hands Qualifies For Carry Permit

North Carolina Proposes Dangerous Regulations For Concealed Carry Classes
From Bearing Arms:
The North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission is the body that oversees (among other things) the roughly 2,600 firearm instructors throughout the state, and several months ago the commission got an earful from many of them over proposed rules that would have introduced sweeping changes and additional burdens for anyone teaching a concealed carry course. As drafted, the rules would have required every instructor to give the state 30 days’ notice before hosting a concealed carry course as well as keeping a list of all attendees for up to two years afterward; information that would have to be handed over to the state during the course of any investigation into the instructor.
