Antifa Is A Bunch Of Spoiled Rich White Kids
From Ammoland:
In the stark resurrection of the murderous “Weather Underground” of the 1960s, today’s violent ANTIFA thugs are primarily affluent, non-working, non-contributing children of wealthy, white families, all living comfortably on grandfather’s money.
Uvalde ISD Police Chief Admits Violating Policy In Interview
From New York Post:
“Obviously, I backed off and started taking cover,” the lead officer said, which CNN noted was in clear defiance of training that insists officers risk their own lives to “neutralize” active shooters.
Constitutional Carry Causing More Problems Than Anticipated For Armed Citizens
From Bearing Arms:
And since Texas became one of about half of the states in the country that view carrying a gun as a constitutional right, it looks like people are getting confused by those complicated laws. Several of Cargill’s students over the last year and a half signed up for an LTC class hoping to avoid conviction for unlawfully carrying a weapon ― usually after taking a gun somewhere they shouldn’t have.
When Cargill checked the Texas Department of Public Safety’s website, he found that his experience wasn’t an anomaly. Convictions for unlawfully carrying weapons skyrocketed in the state, from 1,049 in 2020 to nearly 7,000 last year — a spike of 550% and the highest number by far since 2016, the last year of complete data. The state adopted the constitutional carry law in September 2021.
Minorities Worried Oregon Gun Restriction Will Handicap Their Ability To Buy Firearms
From OPB.org:
But Measure 114 lacks criteria clearly defining what disqualifies applicants, details on what makes someone a threat and what data can be used by law enforcement in making that decision. That’s a problem for activists who have critiqued law enforcement, particularly in the racial justice protests that took place over the past two years.
“I just feel like if I was to go online and say like the police are terrorists or something … [the police] would be like, ‘Well, you seem like you might not be fit for this community to be armed,’ ” says Mia Rose, a trans person of color and former licensed firearms dealer. “If they were to get that information that you got snatched up off the street [arrested during the Portland protests prompted by the killing of George Floyd in 2020], I would assume that the law would say they could deny your purchase, or deny your right to have a permit.”
If only the gun rights groups had warned the people about possible government overreach.
Corporate Press Feigns Concern For Officer Safety After Anti Police Tirades In 2020
As the tide moves in the direction of more guns on the streets and fewer regulations, police chiefs are the first to point out that this trend makes their jobs more difficult and puts officers at a higher risk of injury or death. That danger extends to everyone in the community — children, the elderly and passersby on the street.
NY Counties Oppose New Gun Laws
From Bearing Arms:
In Niagara County, the county legislature this week approved without dissent a resolution opposing the new laws, but also calling for the county to adopt “whatever legislative and legal remedies are necessary and appropriate, including working in coalition with other counties, to overturn the state law.” It’s a move backed not only by the county lawmakers, but local law enforcement as well.
What To Do When Cops Are At Your Door
From The Civil Rights Lawyer:
The too-long-didn’t-watch answer is no. If police officers are on your private property, that changes things. Cops are trained on the requirement for reasonable suspicion – to develop some reasonable suspicion they can articulate, even if total B.S., and then that entitles them to forcibly demand identification from whomever they deem a suspect. That is generally how things work in public places – but not on private property, especially a home.
According to the 1980 Supreme Court opinion in Payton v. New York, in order to legally arrest someone in a home, rather than in a public place, absent consent or exigent circumstances, police officers must have a warrant.
Confiscation If A Threat To Every American
From Dissident Voice:
In the wake of yet another round of mass shootings, these gun confiscation laws—extreme risk protection order (ERPO) laws—may appease the fears of those who believe that fewer guns in the hands of the general populace will make our society safer.
With these red flag gun laws, the stated intention is to disarm individuals who are potential threats… to “stop dangerous people before they act.”
ATF Scrambling To Explain Why Agents Interrogated Man About Gun Purchases
From Ammoland:
Both the Washington Times and the Daily Caller began asking ATF questions about the incident. The ATF sent them similar statements:
“The ATF defended itself in a statement to The Washington Times, saying the agents’ actions were ‘entirely appropriate.’ ‘We are unable to comment on the details of any ongoing investigations; however, interviews are an entirely appropriate part of the investigative process for any law enforcement agency,” the Washington Times reported.
Texas Report On Uvalde
From The Truth About Guns:
Other than the attacker, the Committee did not find any “villains” in the course of its investigation. There is no one to whom we can attribute malice or ill motives. Instead, we found systemic failures and egregious poor decision making. We recognize that that the impact of this tragedy is felt most profoundly by the people of Uvalde in ways we cannot fully comprehend. …
Dutch Protestors Warn Americans About Gun Rights
From America’s Frontline News:
But Dutch police met the protesters with violent – and even lethal – force, shooting at farmers and nearly killing a minor.
“From the Dutch perspective, I would say that Americans should be very happy they have a Second Amendment and that you should protect that with all your strength.”
An Epidemic Of Cowardice
From Men of Order:
But the Uvalde response was worse than anyone could fathom. An armed squad of 19 officers waited in the hallway just outside the classroom that the shooter had barricaded himself in.
And they did nothing.
They stood there for 40 minutes while the shooter slaughtered students and teachers in the classroom.
