Gun control will not stop tyrants. What stops tyrants is a citizenry that is armed and trained in those arms. When every citizen is a possible combatant/insurgent that makes tyrants and despots think twice about controlling their own people or invading another people. To prevent more atrocities we need gun proliferation across the world. Everyone on this planet should know how to use a gun even if they don’t like them. Knowledge is power and knowing how to use a gun is even more powerful.

The bill, the “No Backdoor Gun Control Act,” was introduced on Wednesday by U.S. Rep. Chip Roy, a Texas Republican, and co-sponsored by 23 other members of the GOP. The lawmakers say the reform is needed to ensure federal gun regulators couldn’t use the AOW section to violate Second Amendment rights – and would be especially important if other bills delete short-barreled rifles and short-barreled shotguns from the NFA.

The package includes a measure the Governor called for in December to help hold the gun industry accountable through private lawsuits, and a bill that would prohibit advertising of certain categories of weapons to children.
Anti-gun Activist Attempted To Shoot Mayoral Candidate

Quintez Brown, 21, was charged late Monday with attempted murder and four counts of wanton endangerment after Greenberg was shot at in his campaign headquarters that morning.
No one was injured in the shooting, but a bullet grazed Greenberg’s sweater and shirt.
New York Times Admits “assault weapon” Was A Persuasion Tactic

Op-ed writer Lois Beckett also admitted that once the term was manufactured and used to outlaw a class of weapons that dishonest anti-gun Democrats had used to con an entire nation, nothing happened.
Remington Insurer Pays $73 Million To Sandyhook Families

Suing gun makers over their marketing practices has indeed become more common since the Supreme Court declined to hear Remington’s appeal in 2019, with gun control activists and anti-gun politicians from New Jersey to Mexico using the Connecticut Supreme Court’s ruling as the main legal argument in seeking to blame gun manufacturers for the criminal misuse of their products.
The settlement with the Sandy Hook families certainly won’t do anything to discourage future lawsuits, though the Supreme Court will have another chance to weigh in on the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which was approved on a bipartisan basis by Congress in 2005 specifically to stop this type of litigation.
Gun Rights and Police Raids Are Incompatible
